If you want to put nail polish on a 3 month old, it is best to ask a doctor first. Some parents may feel comfortable doing this, but others may not. It is important to make sure that the nail polish is non-toxic and that it will not harm the baby in any way.

First of all, compared to another brand of infant nail scissors, these are much more affordable and of higher quality. Since I don't own the competing brand, I can't compare, but these scissors work well, so I can't see why you'd spend more for them. It's simple to handle (if you have huge hands, that can be a problem), and the rounded sides make it simple to move. The biggest concern/problem with trimming your tiny one's perpetually growing talons is that you might accidentally cut your newborn, but as long as you hold the bottom blade against the skin, it is hard to do so. Additionally, it cuts SMOOTH. I've tried baby nail clippers, but they created a jagged edge that was useless and exacerbated my itching problems.Note to new parents: Because your baby's fingers are so small, it will be difficult to obtain the scratchy, pointed edges of the nail while they are very young (i.e., before their first or second growth spurt). If that worries you, try hand mittens and a nail file. It will seem like forever, but those fingers will become bigger in no time.

My husband and I were frightened to try again after we twice cut our premature newborn's delicate fingertips with conventional baby clippers. (When I saw the blood, I sobbed ten times more than our daughter did.) We had to come up with a solution because she is quite likely to itch her face and finds mittens uncomfortable. Our life changed when our child's dermatologist suggested an electric file. This item really does save lives. Before using it on our daughter, I tested it on myself, and it had a feather-soft touch. I've now used it four times to trim her nails (always while she sleeps; highly suggested to reduce wiggles), and I couldn't be happier. It effectively trims her nails without displacing her in the slightest. In addition to being silent, you hardly even notice itΓ’β¬βI tested it on myself first. The only negative is that it can be a bit challenging to file down the outer corners of her nails, but it is doable with perseverance, and it really helps to be able to reverse the direction the file rotates. The light is helpful as well, although because of its slightly off angle, it works better for a preliminary examination of the nail than for giving light when filing. We tried the clippers, but I wish someone had told us about this device first. It will undoubtedly be the first gift we get for any future baby showers our friends throw!

These nail files are the best and are a need for children! My incredibly active child's finger and toe nails are all done at once for the first time in almost 13 months. She sleeps so light, trying to do them in her sleep is a joke. I've tried other files, clippers, and scissors. I've attempted to pull them off. It reached to the point where I was simply letting them break off because I couldn't complete them since nothing was working. These are essential! One drawback is that they are quite fragile and I accidentally dropped the first one I took out of the package, breaking it. But there are three in the box, so I'll just have to be extra watchful going forward.

Buy this without thinking twice! I wish I had bought it sooner; I waited 10 months to do so. No longer an Olympic sport, nail trimming. I can do it while the baby naps because it is so quiet. Best of all, I can clip his nails without having to wait till he is fast asleep. Once it contacts his skin, it won't damage him even if he wiggles like a worm. Either it stops or slows down. really quick to use. additional components are included. The light only serves to distract the baby rather than help with nail visibility. It's just at the wrong place. The trimming piece blocks the light, yet indoor lights or natural light are plenty.

When my wife searched for information on how to cut newborn babies' nails, she came across one of them and requested me to order it from Amazon. Previously, she had been apprehensive of doing so because her nails are sharp, and we frequently used gloves because of this. She stopped putting gloves on our 3-month-old infant after becoming used to using this nail file. She discovered that in order to avoid the sand paper fighting the spinning action and ensure a smooth filing process, you need change the direction of the spin in the opposite direction when you reach roughly the middle of the nail. When using this nail file, start by filing the nail's exterior portion, then move carefully toward its core before swiping the switch to make it spin the other way. This will result in a very smooth cut.Amazon is so fantastic that, despite the fact that we are in the Philippines, they allowed us to order various products and have them delivered here in about a week or sometimes even less. I am a member of Amazon Prime, so it would be wonderful if you could offer us a discount on delivery to the Philippines. Regards, Amazon.

This item should definitely be on your baby registry. Compared to those small embroidery boards you could hardly handle, it is so much superior. The file is simple to grip and move about thanks to its s form. Since my kid is a newborn, I have not yet used the nail clippers, but I will report back as soon as I do.Please examine the picture I attached. Sand paper was not correctly attached or was peeling off, according to earlier reviews. If you look at the image, it appears like the company read your feedback and took them into consideration while creating their design. It appears that the embory is now immediately attached to the board rather than being a piece of paper.Along with the other products in this company's range, I definitely suggest this one. I've purchased a lot of items from the Fridababy collection, and they have never let me down.

Sometimes, trimming a child's nails is like attempting to wrestle a pig through muck. You should read them if you can relate. These trimmers' wider body and handle allow you total control as you try to restrain your little bundle of joy without accidentally clipping off their entire finger.Just be careful not to clip constantly by pushing down extremely hard. When one of these connected to the end, it did break, but it was after 2-3 years of use.

I've tried a ton of different pairs of baby nail clippers, but I haven't really enjoyed any of them until this one. After trying some that my sister had for her child, I immediately went online and ordered a pair for myself. They are the ideal size for a parent's palm. They can clip rapidly and effectively because they are sharp enough. It is simple to acquire very short nails because of the clipper's blade's small size, which fits perfectly beneath tiny nails. My toddler, who wailed before, now sits and observes since it proceeds quickly and painlessly.

Like many new parents, you likely have more than five of each device a baby need after baby showers, overbearing grandparents have showered you with gifts, and you've taken friends' and family's advise on where to shop. We were not an exception after having two kids who are now barely four and almost six.But before we discovered these, we went through no less than three or four different types of nail cutters. They are delicate/precise enough to be used on newborns and durable enough to be used until at least six years old. They're too small for me at 37 because of my size, but I bet they could fit at least 10 people.I wholeheartedly endorse this product as a [very barely] surviving parent of two adorable cherubs with what I can only guess are pretty typical nail needs.

I typically wind up trimming 30 small fingernails and 30 tiny toenails on Saturdays because I have two toddlers and a newborn. I accidently clipped the skin a few times with normal clippers. With these, it is much simpler to view the nail and prevent clipping the skin. Although they have a clipper-like shape, the blade really cuts like a scissor. You can view the portion of the nail you are cutting through a little window in the clipper. They will cut adult fingernails, but not as readily because they are sized for kids; I have also used them on myself in a crisis. Actually, I had two sets since I wanted to be sure I had a backup in case they were misplaced.
