I've been searching for a little microbrush/applicator to use with finished HO scale train models so that I may add Pan Pastel weathering powders to them. On models like the hopper featured in this review, there are numerous surfaces, minute details, seams, and crevices that are challenging to reach with standard sponge applicators or even small brushes. Chain lubricant and cleanser work well. The "wax" hardly moves at all; it's really pretty amazing. Although I lubricate so frequently, I'm not sure how long it lasts in comparison to other products. Seems to lube just fine. Worth it just for the sticky quality. smells strange.The MPPL, however, is the true star of this specific product set. I had no idea what it was, and based on its description, I assumed it was some sort of chemical similar to WD-40. However, when you spray this in the general area of baked-on severe filth, the grime just... vanishes. It's incredible. It's so amazing that I'm afraid breathing in the vapors may render me brain dead because it's too good. A picture of the clutch assembly is supplied. Sadly, I don't have a prior photo, but it was completely black. It was in poor condition after 26,000 miles and 8 years of exposure to the road, tar, filth, grime, and rain. I did not brush it; instead, I sprayed the MPPL on it, and now it appears to be as good as new. If I took a moment to brush off a few specks, it wouldn't be noticeable. I'm not sure what the material is composed of, but it's the first can I've finished and I'll be buying more. It makes everything clean!

I'll start with a few points, like how terrible the package is. In order to access the foam brush with the clearcoat, unscrew the bottom cap of the paint can. ALWAYS stand the paint with the fat end facing down, the label facing you, and the top cap securely fastened. Holding the paint with the label on the upside down will cause it to spill when you open it. The hue is perfect if you are fixing your Tesla Model 3 Rims. Don't rush and just paint the scratched rim to achieve a great restoration. Even if painting will only slightly improve the appearance of the scrapes. Sand the surface flat using fine grit sandpaper first. You won't notice the color match after the fact because it will be that near. I used two different grits of sandpaper to sand the surface, applied gray primer, and then waited 24 hours before painting the first layer. Because if you apply the second layer too soon, the first coat of paint will likely liquefy, give it some time to cure. When you begin painting, keep in mind that the paint is actually rather thick. Since I scraped my rim after having my new car for only three days, I decided not to use the clearcoat because the color and gloss are so similar to the original paint. This is what I put together after using it and verifying the suggestions made by other users. As a side note, the paint features a pressure-sensitive tip that you may push against the surface you want to paint. I advise against using it on the rims. It usually applies thick gobs. Additionally, the kit only has a small amount of paint, so use it wisely. The damage was rather visible, and the image depicts the genuine, restored rim. Be patient and take your time; the fix will turn out beautifully. Hope this was helpful.

For rock chips and areas on our bumper where the paint was flaking off, this pen performed wonders. This touch-up pen matches Toyota's requirement for Onyx black flawlessly. Additionally, I loved that it had a primer, paint, and clear in one. I had time to perform more wet sanding and use more rubbing compound to get the ridges flat with the surface where the paint had peeled off, but I was short on time. For the purpose of restoring shine thereafter, a quick shout-out goes to "Carfidant Ultimate Plastic Trim Rubbing Compound." They have some pretty great solutions for light scratches. For any minor body scratches, try their "Carfidant Scratch and Swirl Remover." It's incredible. Be sure to cap the touch-up pen when not in use. This tool was really simple to use. It's excellent for those tiny rock flecks! Next, we'll apply it on our dark Lexus!

I had some rocks dropped on me from a dump trunk, which damaged the plastic on my bumper. Without additional effort, the touch-up I had someone attempt for me looked fairly poor (picture 1#). I was able to fix the damage myself using the 040 white base coat, the 070 white pearl, the 00C clear coat, some sanding, and shine. To get rid of any wax, make sure to thoroughly clean the area with Dawn soap. To avoid introducing oils to the region, avoid contacting the chip with your fingertips. Use sandpaper to flatten any elevated areas if your plastic is gouged and has raised edges like mine did (they resembled teeth marks). Use the brush and take your time applying the base coat. The bottle's top-mounted ballpoint is worthless. Just enough should be applied such that it is entirely white and that no metal or plastic can be seen at the chip's edges or underneath them (picture #2). Put the pearl coat on when that has dried. After applying several layers of that, I smoothed it down using wet sandpaper with grits of 1000 and 1500 (picture #3). After that, I gave it one last light coat and lightly rubbed 2000 grit into it. I then added the clear coat when that dried. Past the chip's edges, you can continue to apply the clear coat. Use 1000 grit, then 1500 grit, and then 2000 grit wet sand paper to smooth it out when that has completely dried. To restore the luster, apply something like Mother's polish (picture #4). After the paint has had time to cure, add wax. I had two 1/2" gouges next to each other on the edge of my bumper, but you hardly see them.

There is no way to overstate how crucial this is. This is not a substitute for hiring a professional to fix your car, which is the best course of action.Therefore, I followed the instructions to shake the container for about 20 seconds and apply while sunny (I'm not sure why they advised to do that other than because it will dry rapidly) because I had two significant scratches on my car that needed a temporary touch up.Getting a disposable plate or something comparable to pour the paint out over and dip your brush in is something I would advise.
