FEBCO 765 1/2" - 3/4" POPPET/BONNET ASSEMBLY Review:

I have a 3/4-inch FEBCO 765 valve for my sprinkler system outside. My sprinkler system as a whole was recently installed in the summer of 2009, and this brand-new component started leaking this spring when the system was opened up (start of 4th season). Since I live in New England, I must periodically blow air into the heads of my faucets to prevent freezing damage. When this replacement valve failed so fast, I was dismayed. It makes me worry if this will stop working after a while. I discovered from reading at least two other reviews that this FEBCO product fails when opened in the same way in the spring. Perhaps FEBCO is more prevalent in the South because of the higher temperatures and lower failure rates.I called the local plumbing supply businesses first, but they didn't have this repair Bonnet and Poppet kit in stock, so I bought it. I was happy to discover it on Amazon. I placed the transaction yesterday and paid an additional few dollars for overnight Prime delivery. When I switched on the water valve and started my sprinkler program, there was no more leaking soon after it was put (simply screw it on hand tight - do NOT use pliers!). Although this works fantastically for me, I can't help but wonder whether it'll be a thing that happens every few years. However, I am happy with this first repair because it seems to be made of the exact same materials and specifications as the original - not a substitute. Like another reviewer, I too would have appreciated some instructions on where to put the grease. I took a small amount of the full grease and applied it to the metal post and spring area as well as all the surfaces that seal. I saw that it had two free rubber O rings when I opened the package, but since I still had the old component handy, I could see that I only needed to use the smaller of the two rings, so I set aside the larger ring as a backup. When your FEBCO 765 3/4 valve starts leaking out the top of the housing, use this repair kit. It worked right away, and you'll be pleased with the results.

BAL BA22305 22305 Cable Repair Kit-Accu-Slide, Universal Review:

After looking into slide-out repair, I came upon this kit on Amazon. With the Norco BAL Accu-Slide Slide-Out System on our 2017 Raptor Toyhauler, this item replaced the damaged cable precisely. The majority of contemporary RVs employ this very standard slide-out technology. We would have lost the most of our camping season and would have had to wait months to get into the service department at our RV dealer. It only took me a few hours to do the repair without any prior experience, and the most of that time was spent trying to figure out how to reach everything without breaking anything. If it's just a cable replacement the next time, it will take me less than an hour. You can simply make this repair if you watch a few You Tube tutorials. A crimping tool, which you can get from Amazon, is also required. What I bought was this: One-SC Multi-Compression Hand Swager by Loos Cableware Although the tool is perhaps more expensive than is necessary for the task, I did not want to have to buy a new one if I broke the old one. I now keep this tool and an extra cable kit in the RV's storage room so I can fix any of the three slides' 24 cables on-site if the issue reappears. If something on your slide is broken or out of position, you may still need to visit the dealer, but if all you have is a damaged cable due to improper cable routing, this should take care of the problem.

Dorman 924-073 Seat Repair Kit Review:

For my 2000 Silverado 1500, this worked perfectly. My chairs no longer sway while I'm driving. Not as simple as I anticipated (around 2.5 hours per seat). All the cleaning you need to do would take place at that period. One track is covered in the instructions, but getting the second track off is rather different and like solving a problem. Once you learn the trick, it is manageable. I saw that many people claimed that in order to make the shims fit, you had to sand them down. False; it fits perfectly if you generously lubricate all the parts with lithium grease before assembling. Spend the additional time, while you're inside, using a brush to clean and re-lubricate all the moving hinges and components. My seat motors no longer sound as though they are about to fail since moving is so much simpler now. very content. And be ready for anything you might discover in your seat. The fact that the seats were absorbing some of the impacts when they could move is another thing that has made me realize how inadequate my front suspension actually is.

Tear-Aid Vinyl Seat Repair Kit, Blue Box Type B Review:

This works PERFECTLY to fix the lawn mower tractor seat! As elastic as it appears in the photographs, it won't come off or tear when you sit on the seat you're trying to fix.You must get a completely new seat if you want something that is invisible because anything you purchase will be visible. Even if you purchase vinyl paint repair kits, they won't endure because they will fracture as soon as you apply pressure, but this tear-aid won't be noticeable or off-colored.Therefore, if you wish to stop the tear, go this route.I was crying a lot in my seat; one was 7 inches long, the other was 4 inches long, and it was growing worse before I got this. Since we installed the Tear-Aid seat patch, the problem has been resolved, and the strip has been in place for about three months without peeling or discoloring. Thus, yippee.By the way, use this kit instead of another tear-aid kit if you are mending a seat. The only one that stretches is this one. I bought another one, which was made of hard plastic and wouldn't have held up under pressure, but I still used it for other minor repairs. To be clear.Glad I came this this. A Recommendation!

Spicer 5-1204X U-Joint Kit Review:

high caliber. Since Spicer had no stock and I required the forward U-joints for this driveshaft immediately, I was unable to obtain them. I discovered that they were subpar using AC Delco since the fit was tight and the clips were flimsy. When they failed to adequately expand into the grooves, they had to be reformatted. They have a sliver of security. To make sure the clips on the AC Delco joints didn't come out, I had to drive while checking them again. Scary. These copper-coated clips are wonderfully sturdy.

Dorman 81020 U-Joint Strap Kit, Pack of 2 Review:

parts of good quality. The fitting diagram is unreliable. These fasteners are insufficient for a 1997 Silverado 4WD.
