The spring used on the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon "Z71" packages is the same as this one. On a suburban, this provides you a measurement lift of nearly an additional inch. As far as I am aware, this is the only Heavy Duty spring available without increasing suspension lift. If you wish to cope with it, air bags are another choice. The softer spring used in the LS, LT, and other versions is wider in the coil design and has fewer coils overall. The steel coil in this 81609 is thicker and has a tighter coil packing; I believe the usual coil is 5/8 and this one is 3/4. If you want to look online for more information, there are facts and pictures on a discussion thread on the Tahoe/Trailblazer website.On a suburban, installation is quite easy; simply unplug the bolts holding the sway bar and lower shock in place. To remove the old spring and install the new spring, jack up the vehicle's frame to a suitable height. Reassembling everything in reverse order... As you jack up the car, keep an eye on the rubber brake lines to make sure you don't put too much pressure on them and cause them to split. Be cautious about how high you hoist the vehicle throughout this process because they will become tight. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, have it done for you elsewhere. I'm not responsible for the advice I'm giving.It was difficult to notice any difference in my car's ride comfort, albeit it may not have been as soft as before. absolutely did not give a rough ride after. Since I used the car primarily for towing, I needed the ride height to support the trailer tongue weight better than the softer standard coils.

As you can see, this kit unquestionably lifts the front end. I bought this spring set to lift the Jeep's front so I could attach a Meyer snow plow later. I own five Cherokee snow plows, and this spring kit was by far the best I've ever used. The suspension travel should be extended if you are not adding a snowplow or a heavy bumper and winch system. No additional components needed upgrading or altering (since the front end will come down once added weight is placed). Well, for my 1995 Impala, these worked out beautifully. However, wherever I searched, replacements were only available for the tops of the rear springs. After doing some research online, I discovered that these would fit the lower of the rear springs. They were installed a few days ago and worked flawlessly.

I paired the Bilstein 199021 springs in the 2001 Chevy Tahoe with these Moog Coil Spring Insulators.First, I noted that the coil spring location on the axle or frame does not match the center diameter (or cupped area) of the wheel. The "cupped" inner portion, on the other hand, is the ideal size to fit in the coil spring's core. Therefore, I continued with the installation under the idea that once the full weight of the automobile was pressing on the spring finder (spring perch? ), the rubber insulator would simply stretch over it.On each coil spring, I used two. Before inserting the spring into its final position, they were attached to the top and bottom of the coil spring.The installation of the springs was quite simple overall. I performed the following actions: - I loosened the wheel lugs; - I jacked up the Tahoe until the wheels were off the ground; - I mounted jack stands to the frame immediately forward of the tow kit mounting point; - I removed the plastic wheel liner.Rear shock absorbers were taken out, the passenger side rear sway bar upper link bolt was unbolted to allow the axle to sag even further, and the coil springs were then very easily removed by hand.

WJ Grand Cherokee Ltd, 2WD, automatic, 2002.ideal fit and simple installation, jack up the rear body, take the wheels off for easy access, lower the axle one side at a time, remove the spring, replace it, and then reassemble.used to swap out the original bumpers, which were completely ruined. Since you'll have access to both during installation and since if the top are faulty, the bottom are not far behind whether they look useful or not, I advise you to acquire both of these uppers AND the bottoms.It's probably time to replace these if you hear a boom or rattling coming from the back over even the smallest bump and you continually checking to see whether your spare tire or jack is loose in the trunk.

I bought these to replace the rather worn-out original front insulators on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ. I guess what I'm saying is that they were nearly identical to the originals, aside from wear, but had the same design. Fit perfectly and complemented my new Old Man Emu coil springs. Replacing these after losing the coils is a no-brainer.some of the prettiest packaging I've ever seen. The insulator was inside a zip-top bag in a box that resembled a small pizza box and had one tab that fits into a slot to prevent the top from opening. No need for a box cutter or knife.
