The initial belts endured for 230k miles. If I had known how simple it was to replace, I never would have waited so long. One 10mm nut driver and one 15mm wrench are all that are required for a 2004 Tahoe. The belt will just fall off if you drop the pulley/tensioner after removing the air hose (by loosening each hose clamp). It's simplest to remove the alternator first (remove the belt) and then to replace it last (installation). Also a great offer on Amazon. Within 24 hours of placing the purchase, the parts arrived. For the A/C compressor, I also purchased the 4K378 belt. Equally simple, albeit a little painful because you have to climb beneath the car to do it. In 100k more, I'll replace these once again. I wholeheartedly endorse. This task was considerably simpler than changing the oil, which I do often and without consideration. While I was there, I also changed the air filter and completed a number of other small repairs. I just learned how fantastic Amazon is for buying auto parts. The 145A alternator is specified by this belt's use. Look for a KG3 code, which denotes 145A, in your glove compartment. For the 105A, there is a separate belt.

I bought a few of these to replace my Honda's serpentine belts. Both the Honda Accord V6 and the Honda Odyssey V6 can fit and use it without issue. Compared to the Ody, the Accord seems to fit it better. Both haven't yet created any noise issues, although the Ody's belt was a little bit tighter. The belts from Bando actually come in two sizes for the Accord and Odyssey, with the Odyssey version being a little bit longer. But when I measured the belt that was on the Ody and the Gates, it was the same size as it was before I put the new belt on. Even with the serpentine belt tool, I have to admit that removing the belt from the Ody is considerably more difficult than the Accord. To replace the timing belt, pulley, and tensioner on my Honda when the time comes, I also have a timing belt kit from Gates. I know that Gates will use high-quality components on any of my Honda vehicles rather than expensive Honda components.

I located the one I got from Amazon through AC Delco after three unsuccessful attempts at a couple local (national shop chains). The only drawback is that the belt came without a schematic or installation diagram. It fit just as described. I had to look elsewhere to find that. The pricing was fantastic, and it fit as described!

The serpentine belt left the warehouse on schedule and arrived.properly packaged.It matches our 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS well.It requires a lot of work to install, but once it is, it operates quietly and well.Compared to the nearby parts store, this price is reasonable.Dayco belts are what I use on all of my vehicles. There hasn't been a single issue thus far.After six months, a Dayco idler pulley did start to whine, but it was easily replaced under warranty.

My 2008 Yukon Denali with 126K miles needed a quick and simple OEM replacement. To replace both at once, I chose the Gates HD (green) A/C belt as well. On the old, original belts, I was hearing plenty of squeak-squeak-chirp-chirp. After watching a few YouTube videos, I understood how simple it would be to replace them. I knew it was time to do it. Major savings compared to the dealer and the fast lube shop that was constantly promoting their services. For the removal and installation of the serpentine belt, I quickly drew a routing diagram (most vehicles have one, but I wanted to confirm it was the same) and used a 15mm socket on a 3/8 ratchet with a short extension to lower the tension pulley. Both belts can be taken off and put back on in around 15 minutes. It's standard procedure to replace at least the tension pulley concurrently. I didn't because mine looked to be working just fine, but I will monitor it and replace it right away if anything seems off. Idler pulley also looks good. Ensure that you spin them to see if the springs are moving fully. If they aren't flawless, replace them. After starting the car, everything is incredibly silent. LOVE that I installed an OEM belt and saved a ton of money; VERY pleased with the cost and caliber.
