Power mirror switch problems started to appear in a 16-year-old Chevrolet truck. The old switch occasionally would have some features that worked one day and none the next. I initially believed the mirror motors might be damaged, but after reading various articles, I changed my mind and determined the switch might be the issue. Happy I gave the new switch a try. It only took ten minutes from beginning to end to install it, including the trim piece. The secret was a new switch. The new switch has improved the consistency of both mirrors' operation.

My wife's 2002 Dodge Intrepid SXT's driver's door mirror was broken, so I got this mirror to replace it. Because this part doesn't come with any instructions and is used as-is, having the service and technical handbook made the work much simpler for me to complete. It featured all the screws and connectors required to connect to every component of the door and recreate its factory-fresh condition. One thing I'll advise you to do before putting everything back together is to test the mirror after connecting the electrical connector and make sure it works and has full motion before reassembling the door panel and speaker. Hopefully, it will spare you some time and hassle.

After watching a YouTube video on how to replace my mirror, I placed this order. I wasn't confident in my ability to service cars, but changing the mirror on my Honda Accord only took me about 20 minutes. It does have a slight vibration, but it saved me the time and money I would have spent renting a car and taking it to a repair shop.I'd advise everyone who needs to fix their mirror to buy this product!

It was simple to install, and I had no problems testing every feature. The motor is a tiny bit noisier than the OEM one, but since it isn't used frequently, that shouldn't be an issue. The only difference I could find was that these bolts appear to be constructed of heavy-duty plastic rather than metal like the OEM ones. However, it appears sturdy and the nuts were put on properly and snugly without any problems. Given that an OEM Ford replacement costs more than $250 and includes electricity, heat, and a puddle lamp, I believe the price difference justifies taking the potential risk. The mirror is simple to fold. Not quite as tightly fitted as the OEM. Additionally, it appears to be a little more convex due to the reflection's borders appearing to curve somewhat more than the OEM. Again, not enough to cause any real problems and might even be helpful when I start driving.Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would happily make another one.HINT: You can install this extremely easily by watching some of the excellent YouTube installation tutorials. The removal of the door panel involves a few crucial stages that must be followed. Anyone who is even the slightest bit skilled with a wrench ought to be able to handle this with no issue if you spend a few minutes watching these videos. Here is a link to the video I thought was the most helpful, if Amazon will let me: [...]
There are a few ways to move your power back manually. One way is to use your body weight to shift your power back. Another way is to use your arms to push your power back.
To manually move a side mirror, first locate the adjustment knob inside the vehicle. It is usually located on the door panel near the mirror. Then, use the knob to make the adjustments you need.
There are two motors in a power mirror. One motor controls the horizontal movement of the mirror, while the other controls the vertical movement.
The cost to fix a power mirror can vary depending on the severity of the damage and the make and model of the car. Generally, it will cost between $100 and $200 to fix a power mirror.
If your power seat needs to be moved, there is a manual way to do it. You will need to find the release lever or switch, which is usually located near the front of the seat. Once you have found it, you will need to push and hold the lever or switch in the "up" position. Then, use your body weight to help move the seat forward or backward.
