For changing the DRL (daytime running lamp) bulb sockets on my Chevy Z71 1999 5.3L, these worked well. The original ones were damaged and broken, and they could no longer safely take in replacement bulbs. They had to be taped in, but even this method eventually failed.These have open terminated crimp splices that are heat shrink wrapped. The wires from the truck harness and the pigtails on the new sockets fit perfectly in an 18-22 ga lock after I switched to some silicon filled scotch locks. I did this since you don't have to remove the wires beforehand for scotch locks. I only had a few on hand. The provided splices will function perfectly. The heat shrink tubing will need to be sealed with a heat gun or other heat source after the wires have been removed.These fit and look exactly like the OEM. I'm overjoyed with this buy. however a little expensive. 5 stars.I hope that this is useful to anyone else that owns a Chevy and needs new DLR bulb sockets. Many of the Chevys I see just have one lamp functioning. It seems that the OEM sockets weren't built to withstand the heat of the DLR bulbs. In another 12 years, I might have to replace them once more, but perhaps I'll have a new truck by then!

The battery tender that came with my C7 Vette had only one charging configuration, i.e., plug the charger into the female in the trunk. Never did the O.E. male plug make satisfactory contact. I had to decide whether to buy a new $100 charger or replace this one after I accidently backed my Vette out of the garage without unplugging the charger. Compared to the O.E. plug, this replacement plug is excellent and of far higher quality. Firm contact is made. Even if you didn't make my error, I still suggest making this modification to anyone with a Vette.

This kit, which I bought to finish a more straightforward on-shore charging system for my yacht, may be used in any circumstance where you need to frequently charge or maintain 12 volt batteries.These ring terminal connections performed as they should have. My deep cycle batteries' posts could easily accommodate the terminals because of their optimum size. The wire won't melt if excessive power is applied to it thanks to the fuse holders that are incorporated. For connecting to other devices, the SAE connections on the other end offer a lot of versatility. The SAE connections include connected covers that allow you to completely cover the connector when not in use to prevent shorting out.If the accessories require less power than 10 amps, I may either use this as I intended for charging or attach them straight to the battery using the SAE connector. The connector works well for my 2012 Jeep JKU even if the wires' colour codes are different. The leads were long enough to complete the task correctly as well!!! All you need to do is align the wires on the new and old plugs, solder them together, and then shrink-wrap the completed installation. Better than brand-new! If ever necessary, I'd use these again. Enough to have purchased 2 additional replacements for my wife's Jeep in case she ever needs them.

Wow. It is rather heavy duty, in fact. It will be used by me to extend a power hookup from my truck's front to a DC air compressor outside.The thick insulation and real 10-gauge wire are advantages. The silicon insulation is also quite flexible.The red and black wires are neither moulded or fastened together. They are distinct from one plug to another. They should be melded together for simpler cable management and routing, in my opinion. After installation, I believe I'll wrap it in cable wrap.

The socket appears to be sufficiently sturdy for the task and is neatly built. Just don't anticipate too much in the way of extras. Although Diesel Tech Ron made an effort to teach me, I am not a mechanic, and I believe the ipr valve's screen does not have a fine enough mesh to perform as original equipment. I went to another source for the screen instead of using the one that was included in the kit.

I do a lot of traveling for work. It is mostly OTR. In modern electronic age, long-distance driving calls for a supply of dependable and "safe" power for a number of devices. Whether it's just charging your phone or using a number of gadgets to make your trip more enjoyable. I discovered that I required this particular product.I hardwired and fused two pieces of equipment in the car I usually drive, and I also used two of its factory-installed cigarette lighter outlets for two more electrical gadgets. I had to transfer automobiles for work, and the new one had just one lighter outlet.I conducted a lot of research and discovered the BESTEK 3-Socket 200W 12V/24V DC unit because I was not permitted to hard wire the new automobile. I double-checked the fuse provided by the car manufacturer for the single lighter, and it was adequate to sustain the BESTEK and make the most of it. To replace the damaged wiring in my 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, I purchased this one. Compared to the original GM part #25962806, it's a good deal less expensive. I encountered no issues and completed the installation in under 20 minutes. To access the area behind the headlight assembly, you must remove the grill.
