At first, I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but WOW! These emit an impressive amount of light; forget about using my map lights; simply point these downward. They have absurdly high intelligence. Just have a look at the comparison image I supplied. If they are too bright, which they undoubtedly will be, as other customers have remarked, flip them inwards to slightly darken them down. Every time I see someone turn open the mirror, I giggle since I left mine at full strength! They frequently curse or quickly try to prevent it by slamming their head through the window next to them while raising their hands. I can without a doubt declare that I would buy these again and that I would heartily suggest them. They are bright enough, though I never expected to like seeing all the way up my nose so much! A side note: They are polarity-specific, so if you test them one way and they don't light, flip them over and they will.

Amazon claims that this won't fit my ex's 2007 Honda Pilot, however it does. These switches are not available at Honda Garage. They advised me to replace the complete module, which would cost roughly $90.Symptoms: Opening the door did not cause the driver's map light to turn on, but using the switch did.My research revealed that Hondas frequently experience this peculiar issue. The switch needed to be changed as a result.Therefore, I had to decide whether to invest $12 to test the theory or $90 for a whole program.The next challenge was locating a switch that was functional in the 2007 Pilot. Even though Amazon claimed they wouldn't function, they looked exactly like the stock switch. I took a gamble, and it was a great decision.Use a small screwdriver or knife to gently pry the lens off so that you can replace the switch. Gently pry the two "hinges" to release it. If you pry them off in the right place, they will readily come off. Unplug the two electrical plugs after removing the four screws (but don't tug on the wires!). The entire assembly will immediately disassemble. The 4 tabs on the module must be popped out of the casing. With minimal effort, it comes out. Now, pry the switch aside with a small-blade screwdriver or knife while ensuring sure you have the right switch. It will appear as though it won't move, but it will then suddenly emerge. You might want to lightly scrape the corrosion off the center contact on the module since it is prone to corrosion. Pins should not be bent. Install everything after fully engaging the switch. DONE!The entire process will take less than 30 minutes. It is a simple job, except from the pressure of working overhead. And affordable.

Nice switches that match the stock switches on a Jeep. Keep in mind that these need relays and are only intended to turn relays, not loads. I had assumed that my LED lights would be able to support the modest current consumption, but I installed relays per the instructions. Since they don't have a backlighting option, it is difficult to view them at night. It would be useful to be able to see light switches at night.

The switch(es) appear to be of good quality and function quite well. With the wiring harness for Duallys from Rigid Industries, the switch face doesn't appear to be lit up.They function perfectly with my other harnesses (that have relays).The switches will need to be further trimmed if they are to be used with the Jeep JK A-Pillar switch pod because they are broader than required. They will slightly rub against one another on the Pillar pod, but they do work.FYI

My husband viewed a few YouTube videos about how to change the switches in our 2005 Honda Accord before starting the process. The switches came two days after we got this package from Amazon, were installed, and have been operating flawlessly for several months now. The replacement bulbs emit a more blue-white light than the original bulbs, which were a more conventional yellow-white. They function perfectly, but the color of the light from the old light in the back of the cabin is different. The only true complaint I have about this product is that one. In fact, my husband is going to order another one and use it over the following several days to fix the switches in his parents' 2005 Honda Accord.

In my ten-year-old Odyssey, the map lights had one defective switch. I preserved the one working switch that was already there as a backup and replaced both of them with the new switches that came in the package. The lamps that came with the replacement switches are of the LED variety and are significantly whiter than the original tungsten filament lamps, though not significantly brighter. They ought to endure for as long as we retain the automobile. The replacement was simple and took little longer than viewing a YouTube video, however in my van, two of the required screws were actually bolts that needed a small socket to be removed (8mm if I remember correctly)

I was able to insert this into the vacant space in my TJ. Removed the dome light fuse, inserted an inline fuse, attached the red wire of this switch to the power side of the fuse slot, and the white wire to the load side of the fuse slot. I didn't connect the black wire because doing so would constantly turn on the switch. The only drawback is that it's a regular switch, so when I want to turn on the dome light, I turn the switch down, and when I want to turn it off (when the doors are closed), I turn the switch up. But that only irritates my OCD; it has no impact on functionality.

I looked all over for the greatest LED light bar rocker switch I could discover. After three months of research, watching YouTube reviews, and speaking with dozens of rocker switch users, I've decided on this one.
