Only because the old actuator became jammed was the heater spewing chilly air. The heater is now blowing hot air thanks to this genuine Mopar part. Regular parts shops offer several part models that they advertise as fitting but are actually of a different design. When I called the Chrysler Jeep dealer, they confirmed that the Mopar part would fit. I spent less money ($20 less) purchasing from Amazon than from the dealer. The driver's side dashboard is where this component is installed. Simple to reach, take out the screws, and replace. As you removed the old one, make sure the plastic lever arm that regulates airflow is connected to the actuator in the same way.

The headlamp gear grind is a perennial Firebird issue. This component fit nicely and was a direct drop-in replacement. The motor runs quietly, and my light rises and falls as it should; there is no grinding or popping-up of the parking light.The fact that the housing cover plate is fastened with screws rather than being chemically bonded together is one thing I truly appreciate and the reason I chose THIS brand. This means that I can snap the cover off, rotate the gear 180 degrees, and then put the cover back on when the gear wears out (because we all know they wear out; every single one of them does). I no longer have to fiddle with tension plates, JB Weld, epoxy, or other materials.Someone at last has the intelligence to create a functional headlight motor!I had to deduct one point because my 2-day Prime shipping took 3 days to arrive. It was delayed in reaching at the fulfillment site, according to Amazon.

easy to install Raise the headlight manually, remove the trim by removing the four Philips screws, two from each side, the trim, the 12 volt plug, and the linkage that controls the headlight assembly. Use a small bungee to hold assembly up and away from traffic to prevent it from falling. Remove the operator after removing the three 10mm nuts and bolts. Install again, going backwards. Use some mastic or something else sticky to hold the 10mm nuts on the box end of the 10mm wrench in place because they can slip off and not be noticed.

All of my equipment gets properly inflated with this machine. It is portable, simple to use, and convenient to move. The power cord's one design flaw is that it can only be plugged into an automobile's cigarette lighter. I would appreciate the ability to plug it into a regular power outlet because I use it more than 90% of the time to inflate items other than my car.
