The packaging was appropriate. normal exhaust shipped. Because of inadequate packaging, a few of the flanges were bent. Fit was appropriate. To fully clear everything, a few of the hangers need to be adjusted, and one was entirely incorrect. There is nothing a welder and grinder can't fix.

First of all, I want to compliment the kit on its quality. That you don't have to do any welding is nice. Although you could go the extra mile and weld it, its design makes installation unnecessary. Everything felt smooth and solid, and the bracket welds are decent. It comes completely assembled and ready to install right out of the box. The down pipe had to be lined up and connected to the turbo, and since I did this installation myself, I can attest that it was a pain. You have to reach both arms into a very small space, hold the pipe up and align it, line up the clamp, then ratchet the clamp down all at once in order to fasten it to the turbo. Although not particularly heavy, the pipes can be challenging to hold onto when there isn't much room. Don't tighten the clamp too much! I had my all set up and was nearly finished when the clamp snapped off. Putting the down pipe on the turbo and aligning the pipe below it will be the most difficult parts of the entire process. With two people, it would have been much simpler, but I'm impatient and didn't want to wait. Having said that, the quality is quite good. The show is fantastic. Better mpgs, more pickup, and less turbo lag are present. It sounds fantastic! When not in use, sounds like a jet; when in use, sounds like a beast. It's not too loud until you really get into it, which is why I like it. It's not at all annoying if you're cruising or just sitting still. Very pleased with it, wonderful purchase.

The old, rusty piping was removed using a reciprocating saw, and the new system was then hung, lined up, and finally tightened. Very well suited. Fits both long and short boxes; since my box is short, there is a small bit of pipe left over.When ordering, please in aware that while it sounds fantastic, it is extremely loud when under load. I also purchased a 6" tip to complete it.

Although this is not my first exhaust, there was definitely a learning curve with this kit. Before you assemble each of your joints, I would advise making a cross ( ) cut in the pipe on the flanged ends using a sawzall so that you can squeeze the pipe with band clamps without damaging the clamps. Since the clamps are of such poor quality, I broke three of them. Two of the components ultimately needed to be shortened so they would fit my truck. To determine the precise ideal lengths, remove the previous exhaust system and lay it next to this kit. Some of their clamps, which have peculiar hanger mounting, are unnecessary and don't operate at all. The main clamp is the one that bends to go over the back of the vehicle and keeps the entire exhaust up. At age 28, I finally installed a muffler that both improved the sound and the way it performed. That is nice. Louder than standard at idle, but not obscenely so at full power.

Great product at an excellent price. It fit perfectly on my 1999 F350 Crew Cab with the big bed because all the plumbing was there. I didn't have to perform any welding, and the brackets seem to be holding fairly well. If I ever bought another truck, I would without a doubt purchase this item again.

There are no instructions; fitting requires considerable finesse. It's a construction kit. Prepare to make changes as you go. I also advise purchasing a few extra band clamps. I ultimately needed two spares just to start. The front hanger had to be removed because it wasn't correctly positioned. Additionally, I had to buy a joint and band clamp separately and cut the down pipe in half. It was far longer than it needed to be, which made installing it unusually tough. Then I understood that every other kit has a shorter down pipe and a longer mid pipe. Saving money is fantastic, but keep in mind that you will need to fix a few design problems. But it's not really a huge deal.
