With the aid of less expensive end 12 point sockets, I chowdered up a few of the old head bolts. Be cautious. Second, make sure you adhere strictly to your torque specifications. These matched my 2006 Honda Pilot exactly. These measure one inch in length and have an M5 x 0.8 thread. Use an 8mm socket or wrench on the bolt head. When it comes to aftermarket components, being a licensed service technician places you in a difficult situation. Nine times out of ten, if I'm saving consumers money on a side job, I'll pick a fel pro product over any other aftermarket brand. Why some folks struggle with these bolts is beyond me. I've used four sets of them and haven't encountered any issues. For my 2000 Chevrolet 4.3 Blazer, I required new Head bolts. I purchased them from Amazon.com. They came a few days after I placed the order. I got them when I disassembled the cylinder heads on my 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD's 6.0L engine to perform some repairs. For whatever reason, using new bolts and not reusing the old ones is strongly advised (many repair books even state that it is needed). I don't know why, but I still changed them. For the V8 engine, two sets are required because this set only contains enough bolts for one head. I erred by failing to pay attention to the illustration and failing to comprehend that two sets were necessary if working on both cylinder heads.
