Nothing is broken or leaking, etc.ORIGINAL:I purchased this to add to the engine bay of a 1975 Ford F250 that was in need of an overflow bottle. Without drilling, the bottle ended up perfectly fitting in several holes that were previously present on the left side of the engine bay, underneath the battery. The cap is snug and secure, and the plastic is good and thick. On mine, the bottom inlet barb was already open, so drilling wasn't necessary. In addition, the cap on mine is vented, in contrast to what other people have said. The air might escape through a small hole in the center. Since it is a pinhole, I could easily seal it if I needed a closed system. I'm glad I found this, and if you have the space, I suggest you try it.
