This carb was ordered, and installation was simple. However, you will need to consider (and most likely purchase) a few other items. I'll discuss those topics in length. Running the wire for the choke was the trickiest element of this installation; everything else was simple. It took me roughly 90 minutes to complete. Although I would highly recommend taking the time to watch the tutorials on their website, you will want to read the handbook in full (it comes with a DVD you can watch too).It's challenging to make that turn because the gasoline inlet is on the left rear and faces straight out. To turn it, you might need a 90 degree banjo bolt, or you could purchase a fuel line kit (Edelbrock component numbers 8126, 8131, or 8134, or another aftermarket alternative, but I'd stick with Edelbrock). I installed a fuel pressure regulator as some have suggested; the manual also makes note of it. Additionally, mounting studs like Part # 8006, 8008, or 8024 might be necessary. Additionally, make sure you verify the kind of your manifold to see if an adapter is necessary. You might also need the automatic transmission kick down bolt/adapter. Make sure your throttle return spring is in good shape or order a new one. I had to add another because the prior one wasn't powerful enough to return to low idle and would instead stay on high idle.Simplest carb installation I've ever done; excellent product thus far.

On my Onan 4000 K series, it worked flawlessly for only $70 as opposed to $300 . Taking out the previous one is a little challenging. Prior to finding the two long bolts holding the carburetor on, you must remove the air filter and its mounting bracket (the bolt is a 10mm). I "discovered" the bolt head using a medium extension and a 10mm shallow socket, after which I put my ratchet in and connected the extension. Once the two bolts have been removed, "slide" the carb and spacer with gasket in your direction. It's a struggle, but it will happen. It can be challenging to match up the new one with the gaskets, spacer, carb, etc. before installing it, but it is possible. A second set of hands would be quite beneficial. Push into each hole with a small screwdriver, hex wrench, or punch from the "back" side (i.e. from right to left). Once the holes are lined up, you may push the bolt in from the left side (i.e. front). My 12-year-old generator is now operating like new!

On a Chevy 350, I used a 4 to 2 barrel adapter from Mr. Gasket to replace my Rochester Quadrajet with this 2GC (5.7L). While climbing and descending hills in the 4 barrel, I experienced issues with gasoline flooding and starvation. I was able to run up and down hills with this carburetor without pausing. Fuel economy improvements that are 100% better than before. The choke and idle were the only modifications performed.Keep in mind that this carburetor is taller than a quadrajet, so you'll need an adapter (which you can buy at the auto parts store in a $10 package). With the bigger carb, adapter, and factory air cleaner installed in my truck, I am unable to close the hood. I'll need to find a shorter air cleaner or modify the hood.

a little bit of a 2100/2150 hybrid. aspects of both. Decent casting quality, good fit, and tight shafts. installation of a later 2bbl manifold, adapter plate, and AMC 258 in a Cj5. Very little adjusting was required after running out of the box. I'm really happy with it. At this price, I was prepared for much, much worse than what I actually got.This is the method to use if you want to get rid of the worn-out, outdated carter on your jeep. You don't have to deal with that unsightly Weber air cleaner, and it fits and functions. Gaskets and other small parts suggest that the carburetor kits are the same as those from a late 2150.

This carb was bought for a 1979 Ford F-100 with a 302 5.0l engine. With one change to the PCV hose entering the carburetor, it bolted right up. The hose port is farther to the driver's side. My supervisor then summons me to his office and offers to give me a generator. Terrific, I reply, and we decide on a time for him to deliver it. Although I don't frequently lose power, I know several individuals who do, and it would be lovely to have a good generator nearby... Free of charge. He then brings this generator over, which is actually an older Generac. appeared to be in terrific shape but had no start... I frequently watch Mustie1's videos, thus I believe I can complete this task. Sure, check for spark. She briefly starts after you put a few drops of petrol in the cylinder and replace the spark plug. So I conclude that it requires a carb cleaning. I remove the carb and set the bowl down to see it PACKED with muck and corrosion. I'm shocked that it ever even started. I therefore unscrew this carb and dispose of it in the washer... I pulled it out and immediately noticed the corroded metal and holes in the bowl. This carb was beyond repair. So I arrived here. A couple filters were included with this carburetor. Insert it, and off you go. The next time my boss offers me something free that has a little engine, I might just change the carb without cleaning because it purrs like a kitten and is reasonably priced.
