I'll admit that I didn't expect this to provide greater reception than the lengthy stock antenna when I purchased it. I just wanted a smaller antenna because I stream Bluetooth 99% of the time I'm in the Jeep. I'm astounded at the response to this. It might be superior to the enormous OEM antenna. Installation was simple.

The item is authentic and perfectly matched my Santa Fe. When I attempted to put it in, I saw that the original had actually snapped off rather than merely fallen off. This left me with a problem because the lift pip is designed to fit into the mount's center when the mast is screwed in. I chose to utilize a reverse screw drill bit to make the mast fit instead of going through the bother of replacing the complete mount, which necessitates removing a portion of the roof liner. Surprise! There isn't a small enough extractor bit for the task. I then proceeded to drill out the core, taking care not to damage the threads because tapping a new thread would enlarge the hole. Although the item screws in despite some broken threads, I now remove the mast when going to the car wash.Regarding the vendor, I am beyond happy. The first ship date was a week away, and there was a shipment delay. I asked the vendor if they would speed up shipping if I agreed to pay more for postage; I think they said it would be "free." The merchant shipped the item over night at no extra cost. outstanding customer service. I'd unquestionably use this supplier again.

On my 2012 Explorer, I changed the antenna, which I had noticed was damaged and fractured. To my understanding, the old antenna was still functional, but when I unscrewed it to load some PVC pipe onto the roof rack, I discovered that the rubber base piece had a 4 inch length of severely broken rubber. After looking around, I discovered this item on Amazon and determined it suited my needs. The day after it was delivered, the original was disposed of. I'm happy with this purchase. Similar antenna is used by my wife's 2009 Fusion, and it is also broken. She is currently too frugal to replace hers.

Guys, I really like this one. You'll see that it has flats above and below, making it simple to remove and tighten with a wrench. feels lovely and substantial. My RAM 1500 was given a fantastic makeover for less than $10. It took only five minutes to replace. The component is secured with a silver ring with three slots. Use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the silver ring while keeping the antenna in place. Hold the antenna to keep it from slipping beneath the fender once it is free, then detach the silver ring. To remove it, lift it up and over the antenna's top. Slide the new component up and over the antenna to remove it in the same manner. In order to release your grip on the antenna and tighten the silver ring with pliers, slide the new component down the antenna and fix it in position. Do the same with the silver screw ring. Be careful when tightening; if you go too far, I fear you might shatter the new part.
