You may connect the wires with the splice taps provided(quick but maybe not solid). Or you may cut the wires and connect them more solidly.
Solution for fast turn signal blinking response after installing LED light bulbs.
Warning: Load Resistors heat up like halogen bulbs. They get really HOT when working. Mount them on metal surface by screws or steel zip ties. Keep resistors inchs away from plastic parts.
Usually each LED bulb installation requires one resistor connected in parellel (see picture below for instruction)
Not designed for consistant working bulbs( Day time running light, fog light, headlight LED bulbs). Resistors may become very hot to melt plastic parts nearby.

For my switchback led turn signals on a 2016 Hyundai Accent, I utilized this. Hyperflash did occur after I installed the lights and tested them to see if I would be fortunate enough to avoid needing them. Due to the fact that they are wired in parallel, I only needed 2 of these (one for each rear light). This was wonderful since, given how the wiring is set up, I doubt I could have determined where to place these on the front lights. There is no hyperflashing, and even while they do get heated, I wouldn't describe it as "hot." On a day with a temperature of 101 degrees, I tested these for around 30 minutes nonstop, and they never got too hot to manage. To be safe, I would still place these exclusively on metal and make sure no cables, insulation, soundproofing, or other combustible materials can come into contact with them. This item is incredibly inexpensive yet is necessary for anyone installing LED lights in their car.

For the rear turn signals, I packed a sizable sealed box containing the truck's LED lights within the bed of the vehicle. I noticed the passenger side wasn't blinking one day. The load box apparently slipped out since the space wasn't completely sealed off. I needed a quick solution that wouldn't cost more than the light kit's price to restore my blinkers. This perfectly met the requirements. It came swiftly, was thoughtfully wrapped, and had more than I required to fix my blinkers. It didn't break the bank, and I now have additional supplies in case of any future little catastrophes.

These resistors seem to be well-made and of high quality, in my opinion. The accompanying T-connectors are of the same basic grade as those sold by Harbor Freight. The wires of the resistor are extremely well insulated and have to be quite strong. It is impossible to see the resistor itself because of the heat sink surrounding it. On all but one side, the heat sink has well spaced radiating fins and appears to be formed of solid aluminum. I'd say that the radiating fins are present on roughly 75% of the resistor. The heat sink has two connection points that can be used to screw the resistor to a metal surface. If you've used T-connectors previously, they performed perfectly and were simple to use. If you are not familiar with these, be aware that you must slightly pry open the connection in order for it to wrap around the primary wire. The T wire should then be fully inserted into the second hole until it stops (make sure the wire will go beyond the metal clip once fully inserted). To ensure that the metal clip is securely fastened to the wires, gently tug on them using pliers. After that, cover the crimped connector with the plastic cap. Finally, since these connectors are vulnerable to corrosion, wrap the connection with high-quality electrical tape to reduce exposure to water and humidity. These are helping me prevent a hyperflash on my truck. As an additional measure of safety, I attached a thin strip of heat duct foil tape to the flat side of the resistor with improvised fins (just allow the sticky side self-contact in 1/4" fins). This was done because there was no way to screw the brake lights to the metal bodywork without adding extra wire, not to help with heat dissipation but rather to prevent the resistor from resting on the plastic of the light assembly (the resistor will get very hot with continuous use of the brake lights). I'll probably do just that eventually and solder all the connections properly. This device should work flawlessly for a very long time if the proper safety measures are taken and careful work is done.

This kit is excellent and it worked perfectly to upgrade the rear Amber LED turn signals on a 2014 Ford Focus ST. Only the 10 ohm resistor on either side was required to halt the flashing incessantly. However, I tested both the 10 and 6 ohm versions. After operating the flasher or blinker for 10 minutes, the 10 ohm resistor runs substantially cooler. I wanted a resistor that would be just enough to fool the flasher unit because I believe safer running is cooler. In this case, 10 ohm was perfect.

superior product These resisters stopped the hyper-flashing attempt by my LED switchbacks. This firm offers quick shipping along with what seems to be a truly high-quality product. Within a few minutes, these were very simply installed in our automobile, restoring the functionality of our turn signals. I'll be placing another order for these resistors as soon as I'm ready to replace the inside lights on my Dodge pickup with LED ones. I particularly appreciate that these resistors come with mounting holes so you can install them out of the way. Some less expensive ones lack the feet or even the holes necessary to mount them in the first place: ( - Since I almost always rely on consumer ratings before making an online purchase, honest customer reviews are very important to me. quite much. If you use LED lights, you require one for each turn signal. So you'll need four total if you're doing front and back. I switched the LED lights on two cars because it came with eight already. Price was excellent compared to others that only offered two or four resistors.Installing is quite simple. Simply connect one side to the ground wire and the other to the positive wire, which receives 12 volts when the turn signal is turned on. If you don't use these, your turn signal will flash quite quickly because LED lights don't have much resistance. They increase resistance and impede the return of the blink to normal. The only drawback is that if your turn signal fails, you might not notice because the resistors won't flash quickly enough to alert you that a bulb has failed.Regardless of which side you connect to positive, some cars have three wires leading up to the bulb rather of simply two. If you are not experienced with a 12volt system and want them installed, take them to your neighborhood audio store.

As seen in the pictures, I HAVE A 1999 FORD TAURUS 3.0 DUAL OVERHEAD CAM 24 VALVE THAT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. I purchased new LED headlight bulbs a month ago because I was sick of my dim Sylvania Ultra bulbs, which I had purchased two years prior and had a very high rating but weren't good enough for me. I purchased these 10,000 lumen LED headlight bulbs, but after two weeks the high beam stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer, who advised me to purchase these resistors. I DID, AND TWO DAYS LATER, I GOT THEM. JUST TODAY, I INSTALLED THEM. If you look at the pictures, you'll see that I positioned them beneath the top rail about 3 inches from the rail's edge well below. I STARTED BY DRILLING THE PILOT HOLES FROM THE TOP OF THE COURSE, AFTER I TOOK EACH RESISTOR, MARKED EACH HOLE, AND PUT THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THE RESISTOR UP, THEN I STARTED BY DRILLING THE PILOT HOLES AND I HAD THE PERFECT SCREWS WITH A LARGE FLATHEAD WASHER TYPE HEAD I APPLIED THE SAME SCREWS TO BOTH THE DRIVERS' AND PASSENGER'S' SIDE, A TOTAL OF 8 SCREWS. THIS WAS THE BEST PLACE FOR THE RESISTORS IN MY CAR. Being at the bottom of the headlight housing and/or nearby, water would be a problem if they were mounted there since moisture gets into that area. I was hesitant to mount them underneath the headlight housing because I didn't think there was enough room. They could melt since plastic headlight housing gets really hot, so I didn't want them anywhere near it. Therefore, with no moisture, wires, hoses, or plastic present, this is the best location I could find to mount them. Now, if I like, I may paint the screwheads white or black to match the frame at the top. Now that I have new LEDs and resistors, I can use bright hi beams. THE NEW LEDS DO NOT COMPARE TO MY OLD SYLVANIA ULTRA LAMPS, WHICH WERE $35.00 EACH. A PAIR OF MY NEW LED LIGHTS COST $50.00 AND WERE CHEAPER, BRIGHTER, WHITER, AND UNREAL. LED IS CURRENTLY THE ONLY OPTION. THESE RESISTORS MADE EVERYTHING WORK OUT Perfectly. I only needed an hour and a half to install both, taking out both headlight assemblies in the process. WOW BRIGHTER THAN ANY NEW CAR THEY'VE SEEN, EVERYONE SAYS NOW. Just be extremely careful where you install these resistors; keep them away from plastic, wires, hoses, etc. as they might catch fire when they get extremely hot. FIND A SAFE, APPROPRIATE SPOT FOR MOUNTING.AWAY FROM PLASTIC, WIRES, HOSES, ETC., AS THEY GET VERY EXTREMELY HOT, A METAL ONLY FLAT SURFACE!
