This bracket moves the idler pulley over and down, between the alternator and power steering pulleys, to allow LS1 intake manifolds to be used with truck accessory brackets.

The idler pulley on the truck bracket had to be moved. I had to remove the idler pulley mount because I'm utilizing the 2010–2015 Camaro water pump in order for the truck bracket to fit. The water spacing on the 2010-2015 Camaro is the same as the truck pump. The Camaro harmonic balancer will match the truck accessories (FEAD), however it is only compatible with 6.2 L engines, whereas the truck harmonic balancer is compatible with 5.3 and 6.0 L engines.

Since this kit was priced far less than comparable kits with less items, I must admit that I wasn't sure what to anticipate from it. But WOW was all I could say when I received the ICT Alt kit, and WOW was much stronger once it was put in place. The installation was simple, and the engine now looks completely different. The parts fit together perfectly and were well-made. I cannot praise this ICT gear enough. I went and bought their power steering pump kit as well after seeing how this kit was constructed. Amazing product.I apologize for the poor quality of the photo. I need to have shot the photo before to mounting the fan shroud.

For a terrific price, this device accomplishes exactly what you need it to. In fact, I purchased it for a stock car with a short water pump (I needed a bracket such as this for clearance concerns ). It was simple to modify the bracket to fit; however, you will need to drill a second hole in the bracket. Since the metal is rather substantial, I have no worries about its durability.

Excellent fit!Had no problems installing it, and the product was excellent. It fits well and looks amazing on the car. The product looks MUCH nicer in person; the photo does not do it justice at all. The bracket itself appears much more like a standard cnc aluminum piece; for whatever reason, the one in the picture appears dull and faded.I adore the concept; the tension is adjusted on the bottom bolt while the alternator swings from the top bolt. The water pump holes are used by the two bolts on the left of the motor.The bottom RAD hose is VERY close to the belt (1/8 inch), which was the only problem. I decided to use a flexible universal tube to prevent any potential problems. As it prevents access to the lower rad hose mount on the water pump, make sure to mount the lower rad hose first.As always, be sure to have some washers and spacers on hand to ensure proper belt alignment.

This was the cheapest and finest alternative bracket I could find for a 350 SBC, therefore it was a good value. It does appear to bend somewhat when I pull on my alternator to tighten the belt, but overall it's in fine shape. Because of the bending, I wouldn't give it a five-star rating; nevertheless, because I'm not running a thousand horsepower, this is adequate for a daily vehicle.
