Russell 650133 FUEL FILTER Review:

One of these was installed on my vintage Malibu. living in California, where there are bizarre CARB laws for gasoline that make things difficult. With Carb cleaner, cleaning is simple. Just so I could switch it out and clean the other at my convenience, I bought a second. The fuel line's 6an (5/8 in X 11/16) threads make it simple to turn the wrench.

Toyota Genuine Parts 23300-62010 Fuel Filter Review:

Fits flawlessly in a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 3.4L V6, took 20 minutes to replace, and is a straightforward task for anyone with fundamental mechanical knowledge. To remove the old filter housing bracket nuts, I suggest utilizing a 3/8" drive ratchet with a 10" extension and a 10mm socket (2 nuts holding in place). Since this new filter does not come with new nuts, keep your existing nuts and save them for a later date. The old filter is then removed using a 9/16" and 3/4" open end wrench. Have a metal container on hand (I used a soup can) to capture the tiny quantity of fuel that will leak from the lines when you remove them. Remove entirely, then discard. To replace, first loosen the two mounting bracket nuts; only a few threads should keep them in place so you can move the filter to align it with the fuel lines. Once again using the open end wrenches, attach the "In" and "Out" fuel lines while paying attention to the fuel flow. Next, tighten the nuts on the mounting bracket. Congratulations! You just saved $100 by performing the task yourself rather than letting a mechanic do it.

K&N PF-1200 Fuel Filter Review:

It's a 2000 Integra GS, my vehicle. I had to share this because I had a minor issue. This filter resembles an OEM. Installation is not that difficult. Just be sure to let the pressure out of your gasoline line (open the gas cap, take out the fuse for the fuel pump, and turn the key to the ignition, or your vehicle may stall).Given that there are numerous YouTube tutorials, I won't go over the rest of the installation. The fuel line neck sits in a U-groove that is TOO SMALL in this filter on Integras, which is a problem. The fuel line being forced into the groove was mentioned by some persons. I recommend against it. It will not rest flush. Here is my advice. To prevent anything from entering, make sure you VERY carefully tape the filter's entrance. Use a metal file to smooth out the U groove's interior. The gasoline line neck is around 8mm wide, according to my measurement. When you're done, the gasoline line will fit perfectly into the groove.*I covered the now-exposed bare metal with a paint pen as an added precaution against rust. To catch the metal shavings, I also used masking tape, which I neglected to mention. My automobile seems to have more power and to run more smoothly in terms of performance. I removed a fuel filter that was 18 years old off the shelf. Yikes!I would absolutely purchase this filter again, although the following time, I might file the U groove before installing it.

Spectre Performance 5965 Chrome Fuel Filter Canister Review:

When filled with gasoline, it will be exceedingly huge and weighty.

Spectre Performance 2358 Fuel Filter Replacement Element Review:

For my Spectre glass fuel filter, I got these replacement filter pieces. My brother's car's filter element was swapped out for my previous one. Even though I only required one element, the bundle of three was affordable enough for me to buy it. The filter fits perfectly where the old one did and is just what I anticipated. Even extremely minute flakes of dirt will still get trapped in the filter because it is made of plastic and has a very fine mesh. I've now installed these filters in three automobiles, and I'm really impressed by how much small debris they capture. In case yours are damaged or worn, the kit also comes with fresh O-Rings to seal the glass tube to the barbed ends. The knurled "collar" that screws down and holds the filter element in place is the only piece that is missing. It serves its purpose and it wouldn't hurt to have a few extras on hand. I'll save the extras in the glove box and cross my fingers that I never use them!

Mopar 6800 1914AB, Fuel Filter Review:

My 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 found it. The OEM Parts are great. reasonably simple to replace To learn how, go to YouTube.

Spectre Performance 6932 Universal Fuel Filter Review:

Apart from the plastic connectors, which I detest since I'm concerned about the vibrations wearing them out, the filter and housing are of excellent quality. It was quite helpful that I could do 3/8" in and 5/16" out. However, it appears from previous reviews that you cannot purchase the replacement filter parts for them. Similar spectre filters are offered by AutoZone under a different component number. Although they do have replacement filter pieces for that one, I'm not sure what the distinction is. They appear to have some potential, but I am unsure.Make sure to cover the connection with thread sealant tape. The first time it leaked gas was because I didn't read the directions. I had no issues after using Teflon tape made for gas applications.

A performance fuel filter is designed to do two things: remove impurities from fuel, and improve fuel flow.
