You can finish in an hour if you follow the instructions. aFe Power Magnum FORCE Performance Intake System installed (Dry, 3-Layer Filter). Added was an aFe March Force exhaust as well. With 35" Nitto tyres and Fuel Assault rims, enough horsepower and torque were added to use sixth gear without losing speed (20X10). I think this product is well worth the price. After installing, a few codes did crop up, but nothing that your neighborhood auto parts store couldn't fix with their code reader in the parking lot. The truck was feeling too much air, so I had to retrain the throttle body. I cleaned the throttle body unit and played around with the flap or valve within, which is why this happened. Anyway, I've had it installed on my truck for over 4 weeks now, and it works great! WOW! There is undoubtedly more low end torque now, and the throttle response is much better. I ended up obtaining about 1.5 more MPG, so it goes without saying that I'm satisfied. The spacer also has a great sound! Just be patient and do things correctly. Due to a minor leak from my stock O-Ring, I did add a small bead of RTV Blue gasket sealer to ensure a better seal. Just a matter of taste...

I made the decision to check out this product after doing extensive research, reading reviews, and forum thread conversations. I thought my bottom end throttle responsiveness was lacking. My 2015 R/T Challenger has an AFE cold air intake, and I was satisfied with the design, quality, and simplicity of installation. I chose to continue using the brand.The spacer has a high quality, well-made feel to it. Easy to install. The bolts that included with the kit were my only point of criticism. The kit's suggested bolts for a 5.7 did not fit because they were too tiny. Thankfully, the package included 2 other sizes, and one of the sets was a perfect fit.I noticed a noticeable change in the throttle response after driving the car 100 miles. I should have performed some preliminary testing first, but I was eager to install it. I'm incredibly happy with the outcomes; the car has greater reaction in the lower range, which is exactly what I wanted.The whining that some reviews have described I didn't hear. I only hear Flowmasters because I have them playing.

I'll try to keep this brief. I've always been a truck fan, and I currently drive a 2006 Tacoma. I didn't like the truck's lag in acceleration or how boring it was to drive, but I knew it was a powerful vehicle pound for pound, so I made some changes. Iridium Plugs NKG GREAT!!!, Outstanding AFE Oil Free Cold Air Intake Love the sound when you start it, and now that I have the vehicle I knew it should have been thanks to the AFE Power Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacer 6-38002, years later. I truly don't care if it saves me. I only wanted the gas truck to move as instructed; you should be aware of this going in. Yes, I am aware that it is a truck and not a sports car, but in my opinion, I have the best of both worlds: the usefulness of having a work truck and the occasional need to feel good. I get in it, and as I look in the rearview mirror, anyone nearby can tell that it is my unique truck. The Throttle Body Spacer has made me very happy. I'm no longer sluggish taking off with the air on full blast, and with the air off OMG I love it. I can't speak for other makes of truck, but for me I'm so dang happy, and best of all I have no whistle, which I did not want. I'm done with upgrades. I'll discuss the good, then the negative, and finally the overall.The good: 1) This item is made ABSOLUTELY STRONGER. Because it is solid and weighty, when they said "billet aluminum," they meant it. 2) Installing the provided gaskets was simple and the gaskets fit flawlessly. 3) Each spacer that was provided performed flawlessly.The bad: 1) A few things in the instructions COULD have been explained a little more clearly, such as how the fuel lines would block your spark plug wires as they emerge from the distributor cap due to the extra height. 2) Although stated in the instructions that "each model year is different," be aware that you may need to make some adjustments to parts as you reinstall them. Mostly mounting brackets and other such things, but I wanted to bring it up. 3) You will (MUST) remove the back VORTEC box as it will strike your hood if used in conjunction with the Taylor Vortec Throttle Body Spacer.Conclusion: This is among the best improvements I've made to my 1996 GMC K1500 5.7 VORTEC! Through 3000 RPM, you won't notice much of a difference, but about 3500 RPM, your truck is a completely different truck! The difference between towing and other types of transportation is for the better. You should STRONGLY consider upgrading from the original poppet valve injectors to the ACDelco 217-3029 since you're already there.
