like K@N and the Spectre. superior to the dry filters included with the kit for cold air intake. I this time added the pre filter for the 4.6 and 5.4 Ford V-8 Triton engines! and increase the power.

K&N engine air filter, washable and reusable: 1981-2019 Nissan/Infiniti/Renault L4/V6 (Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, Altima, Elgrand, Quest, Terena, X-Trail, QX60, FX35) 33-2031-2 Review:

My 2013 Nissan Altima 3.5S with the OEM air box and intake is a perfect drop-in fit. Particularly at lower RPM (which this engine with the CVT tends to prefer), throttle responsiveness was considerably enhanced over clean/new original paper filter. More so than an increase in total power, you'll notice a boost in throttle response. MPG increased by almost 1 full mile per gallon (hovering between .9 and 1.1 additional from my calculations at the gas pump and the in-dash display). When you really push the throttle, the intake growl increases slightly, but when you're not driving hard, it stays at factory levels. This seems to make sense if you have a CVT (Altima, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, etc.), as the throttle responsiveness has improved (how power applied to the wheels tracks with pedal movement). Other than tripling the period between filter changes, it might not really matter if you drive a vehicle with the standard 6-speed automatic transmission. Just going from 27 mpg to 28 mpg will cover the cost of the filter (I already have a recharge kit from K

Spectre Performance 884820 Accucharge Filter Kit Review:

Works. I easily cleaned and oiled my filter. a great value. I'll make one point, but I won't deduct any points. The oil is clear; it is not colored. Where you have oiled and where you have not is difficult to distinguish. Get this if you want to stay away from colored oil. Simply said, I need to be more watchful about where I spray to make sure I cover everything. Please interpret it whatever you choose; it's just a preference of mine.

Spectre Performance HPR8755 Air Filter Review:

Mine had a yellow bottom and a red top. I'm not sure why the bottom wasn't lubricated. I am aware that the fabric is typically white and that the red hue is a dye made from oil. I purchased this air filter since these oiled filters are the finest for driving in the desert or in dusty places, where we occasionally travel. And the fit is at best passable. It appears too long, and as other reviewers have noted or demonstrated, the long sides bow in a little. It fits snugly in my 2011 Yukon XL's airbox. For my Jeep, I purchased a second Spectre air filter, and it truly dropped in and fit perfectly.

Spectre Performance HPR4309 Air Filter Review:

The 2003 G35 I own has 155k miles on it. I wasn't sure if this would be much better, but since it wasn't much more expensive than a paper filter, I decided to get it because my one-year-old paper filter was starting to look a little soiled.Wow! What a change it has brought about! It's been in for a while now. What I've noticed is this: The engine runs considerably more smoothly when it accelerates and idles, and even the sound has improved significantly. Since I've been having so much fun speeding with this new found pep in the engine, I haven't seen an improvement in gas mileage.I've changed filters previously, but even when they were brand new, they never brought about such a significant difference.
