Given how bright they were, I really wanted them to function. One of the two intermittently flickered and went out. I made sure it was correctly installed by checking (checked polarity and spread the pins out a bit to ensure good electrical contact). Even though it was considerably brighter than incandescent lights when it was on, I was forced to return these after making a few more attempts to get them to work.Update. Customer support from Auxito contacted me and supplied free replacements. Even harness adapters with load resistors were delivered. I wasn't in need of them. They have a great deal of brightness. Compared to the stock halogen bulbs, this is a big improvement. Now, backing up in the dark is like turning on the lights.

These inexpensive bulbs offer better visibility. My 2017 Harley Breakout runs on a standard 1157 automotive bulb that is available just about everywhere. Both the front and back bulbs are identical. These LED bulbs have the same same base as 1157 bulbs. There is, however, one difference. The contact points on the bulb's base are larger than those on factory bulbs for some reason. even shaped strangely. The contact points are bigger and have a football-like shape. You'll need to remove part of the covering in order to properly seat the bulbs. Medium-course sandpaper was what I used. Slide the bulb's base back and forth on a flat, hard surface until the appropriate amount of the soft metal is ground away. Each bulb will only require a brief amount of time, at which point it will fit flawlessly. Before I replace the front lights, I'm curious about its durability. Running lights and brake lights are brighter thanks to the twin filament.

I utilized these to swap out the backup bulbs in a 2008 Lincoln Town Car and a 2003 Marauder. They specify the 3156 bulb. On a 1998 Subaru reverse lights, the 1156 (same bulb/different base) was also utilized. When utilized in this way, every emitter illuminates. I had some apprehension it wouldn't be the case. Not to worry. Because they are bright and seem robust, I feel these are a good value.These antline leds outperformed a few other, less expensive 3156 type leds I tried in terms of brightness. I'll just give away those other inexpensive ones.If you only want an LED replacement, long life and low power consumption, equivalent to an incandescent bulb in brightness, then other less expensive ones would probably be adequate. You can purchase these if you desire extra light.They seem to be sufficiently bright for turn signals. Depending on the specific vehicle, you may need can-bus ready bulbs resistors if you use them as turn signals. The car might be rewired or reprogrammed by more knowledgeable people.
