I purchased this item to compare the differences between a conventional mirror and a wide-angle mirror, and man, what a difference!You can only really see out of your back window with a standard rear-view mirror. With this one, you can see the most of the upper portion of the back seats as well as the whole rear window and some of the back side windows. When you first look in the mirror, it obviously takes some getting used to, but after using it for a week or two, I can honestly say I'd never go back to a regular mirror.Simply push up on the spring-loaded clamps to secure it, then slide it over your old mirror to complete the installation. Since putting it on, I have yet to notice even the tiniest movement. My 2013 Audi A4's electronic rearview mirror became unsecured. Pretty upsetting when the automobile has just over 33K miles after six years of ownership and is only used for enjoyment. Anyway... It arrived earlier than anticipated. The viewing coverage is really good compared to stock mirror. Because the mirror on my 2005 Ford Explorer was cracking, I utilised it as a replacement. There are larger mirrors available as aftermarket items, but this one was great! Excellent viewing areas to the sides and back! Safety is essential. Its curvature is a good thing. Other critics complained that the strangeness of the objects made them feel queasy or dizzy. I have no idea why they are criticising this product!

On my car's visors, the mirrors function fairly well. These don't fit perfectly since the grip is a little tight. Because my visor is a little bit too thick for the clamps, the metal clips kind of protrude downwards, which has resulted in some unfun head bumps. Nothing compares to nearly scalping yourself on the clamp metal, but it's only happened a few times and I pick up on things quickly, so it hasn't happened recently, but I thought it was still worth mentioning. Because they are only 7x5, they don't totally fit my visor. In spite of their minor shortcomings, I think they're a really excellent value at around $10 for 2. I am content with these till I can upgrade to some newer ones because they were an excellent quick purchase and have served me well.

In my van, this works pretty nicely. However, I also purchased one for my children's 2016 Chevy Sonic, and it genuinely is ineffective. It does not fit the mirror, to start. Because it has push buttons for Onstar and other features, the mirror in that car is higher (from top to bottom). The mirror is not centered and I had to attach it to the side, leaving approximately 2 inches of the regular mirror protruding. Second of all, even if this could be appropriately linked to the mirror, the head rests on the front seat and the head of the passenger block the increased vision.

My rearview mirror was deliberately broken off by some POS who broke into my car. This is my remedy.Surprisingly, I'm content with this. It truly adheres and holds position. It has a very solid feel. It's a great idea, a fantastic short-term fix, and also a respectable alternative for a long-term fix.The effect is strangely unsettling, and the only thing I find mildly bothersome about it is that it vibrates when the car vibrates, yet my car vibrates only from the a/c. It's really not a big deal for me, though, as I usually only take fleeting looks in my rearview mirror when I'm driving.Regarding the unfavorable reviews:No trouble at all getting it to adhere to my windshield. Even though I tugged on it to try to take it off, nothing happened. I can only assume that it only functions on specific windshields. Perhaps those who claim it doesn't stick have windshields that are flat. It works pretty nicely and is curved in mine. Additionally, the instructions on the back of mine were in English, whereas someone else was miffed because theirs were in another language. That, in my opinion, is a suction cup. You probably have larger issues to worry about if you actually require instructions on how to use a suction cup.
