I completed the installation only to discover that the headlight assembly's locking pin was too large to pass through the openings. I used a drill bit that was slightly smaller than the pin to manually ream the holes so I wouldn't oversize them. In the end, it worked out nicely, but a direct OEM replacement item shouldn't need to be modified to fit.

My 1987 Corvette's installation was simple. I chose to replace both of my headlights when one of them went out. When compared to using the regular halogen, these are very brilliant and well worth the extra money. Use the wiring adapters that are advised. I'll make things simple for you if your automobile is a GM one: Vehicle headlight wiring: light green for high beam, tan for low beam, black for ground; adapter: red for high beam, yellow for low beam, black for ground.

These lights outperform OEM products astonishingly well. They are on a Chevy Express 3500 that I installed. Each installation took no more than five minutes. I got the chance to use them for the first time tonight. and slick roadways. The road signs were well visible. use the OEM bulbs. When the roads were moist, the marks were washed away.The single-directional nature of LED light alarmed me. The kaslight bulbs illuminate the entire area. The reflective surface of the roadway signage was very brilliant. From almost double the distance, I could read them.A tree might get a tan from the high beams. amazingly crisp lightWhen I have more time with them, I'll update this.

high calibre. Knowing that it won't be a flawless fix, I purchased the kit to use on a first-generation RX-7 with new Hella headlights. I kept looking and was prepared to make it work rather than let the car sit. The four slots do not fit the three on the housing, and the rings do not conform to the shape of the Hella lights. To fasten two of the slots to the housing, I had to use millieties.

This was acquired after the truck's unlucky collision at 2 mph with a concrete wall left the front end, including the headlight mount, damaged. Finding out which side is right in this situation can be a little tricky, but once you do, everything will be OK. Just be gentle with it; it's made of flimsy plastic, so if you try to force it into the incorrect position, it can break, leaving you back where you started. Additionally, be careful to save the fasteners from your old mount since this item *doesn't* include any.This was placed a few years ago, and it continues to function flawlessly today without warping or cracking in spite of exposure to extreme temperatures and impacts. fair pricing as well!

bought to replace my when a vehicle rear-ended mys (97 F250HD). Arrived swiftly and appeared to be nearly identical to the fragments of the original one I still had. It seemed to be of good overall quality and chroming, and it fit perfectly. The only drawback was a couple or three minor scratches here and there, but they are barely noticeable. Although you might want to spend more money elsewhere if you have a show truck, the pricing was ideal for me, and I'm happy with it.
