I have two pairs, one for my car and the other for my brother's automobile. Apparently, his car requires a different bulb (My mistake). I can see while backing up now that they are significantly brighter than the originals! Although it's now quite cold, I can imagine it working nicely for temporary area illumination when, for example, setting up a tent in the dark or attaching a trailer to a hitch. It really transformed my trunk from a nightlight to something you can actually see with. I used one bulb from the extra set as my back hatch dome light (It's too large to fit the cover over as it was made for a much smaller t-10 bulb, but the wattage is roughly the same as the underperforming incandescent predecessor). Bonus points for making my car look a few model years newer with that LED look thanks to the 6000k white light. Considering that they are drop-in LED incandescent replacements, they are non-polarity and dim relatively smoothly.

You've found bright if you're looking for it. These are amazing things. I must tell you that these are severe, so if you plan to use them as inside dome lights, you might want to go with the 194. With only 2 of them, my truck was like daylight multiplied by two. Crew cab for the 2015 F250 Lariat. In the end, I replaced them with 194 LED lights. However, these perform admirably in cargo lamps and the third brake light. Awesome. Additionally, if you see a flicker, simply remove the bulb and switch to the opposite polarity by rotating it 180 degrees. fantastic stuff

These fit without any clearance difficulties on my 2017 Honda Civic EX-T Sedan. Be careful that for your vehicle, these LEDs are around 1/2" longer than the original 921 bulb.Construction quality appears adequate, especially given the price. Since these bulbs have polarity, you may easily change them 180 degrees if they don't function. To save yourself some potential frustration, wait to rebuild the light assembly until the bulb has been independently tested as functioning.Greater brightness than its incadenescent equivalent. My car's 25% tint, which extends to the back glass, makes it challenging to see well at night. (I nearly hit my truck one night owing to inadequate lighting, which motivated the search for a fix.) I was quite surprised to see that these are substantially brighter than factory bulbs. I wouldn't advise Sylvania LEDs, which were in my 8th generation Civic. It is highly recommended to use these Sirius lights (Currently installed on Civic X). If my level of satisfaction shifts, I'll update. The increased visibility surprised me in a positive way. Simply put: wow. These are what I use for my turn signals, and they do signal. They greatly modernize the look of the car because they are a brilliant white hue. Just a word of caution! For some vehicles, a specific resistance is needed to determine whether the bulb is blown. You will typically hear a rapid turn signal noise and see a very fast flashing turn signal notification light on your dashboard console when a turn signal is malfunctioning or blown. The car will believe that the bulb is blown due to these lights. They operate well but continue to flash quickly. This issue can be resolved with a new relay that works with LED lights. I don't really mind the quick flashing, and if I ever do, changing the relay won't be an issue.

This LED is so bright that it's virtually unsuitable as a backup light. I'm changing some lights in a 2006 Honda Pilot that I just got. Although I haven't yet installed the backup camera I bought, these LEDs should be adequate for tail illumination. Additionally, when backing out of a parking space, it is much less probable that this tail light will be missed.Although I know they can't be used continually without overheating (I use the parking/indicator lights as daytime running lights with a lower power JDM 3014 SMD [18 chips]), I would have liked to have put them in the front parking lights. 90 3014 chips make up this 921 replacement.Because it appeared that the bottom row of chips and the 921 filament aligned up, I chose this LED. The reflectors in the tail housing are made for that particular structural configuration. Even though this LED is longer than a 921, it found out that the full unit appears to function with the reflectors in the 06 Pilot. A 3014 chip from saving-star.com is rated at 13 lumens and.1 watt. Therefore, 1,170 lumens from 90 chips multiplied by 13 lumens, when placed correctly for a parabolic reflector, is incredibly efficient. About 250 lumens are produced by a brand-new 921 incandescent bulb.When the trunk lid is closed, some reviews claim that these LEDs do not remain in position. I've tried closing the Pilot rear hatch to knock them out of place, and thus far, so good. Of course, in addition to the bulb's weight, holding bulbs in place is largely a function of the vehicle's housing design.So far, this gets six stars. I just put them in (Nov 2017). In case there are any issues, I'll update.

When I contacted the vendor, they finally sent me a replacement pair. Once I've had a chance to install it, I'll let everyone know whether it burns out once more.A light has already burned out, according to an update. I was let down because it was difficult to get to the lights on my Toyota Sienna. I very recently began using it; I got it in December 2017 but didn't install it until June.These are delivered in the picture-perfect black box with silver lettering that has cellophane wrapping around it. For the bulbs, within a foil/plastic pouch.I put off repairing it myself and run the risk of breaking clips, etc. because my 2017 Sienna SE requires the plastic panel with clips to be removed. During the installation of my van's alarm and dashcam, I persuaded the technician to change the bulbs in my reverse lights. Just used them tonight (Pro-tip, safest way to test by yourself: Put on e-brake and do not actually start the car, just press start button twice so electronics and hvac comes on, then shift to reverse). I can already see everything behind me on the backup camera; however, without going out to check at the lights, I would have to risk seeing spots. I'm quite happy with how clear and brilliant the lights are. If these die out early after being installed in June 2018, I'll update my review.

In addition to these bulbs, which claim to have 1k lumens, I also purchased another kind that advertised 1300 lumens. These were the brighter ones when I side-by-side compared them! These bulbs are on the left in my photo, and the others are on the right. In person, the distinction was even more obvious.The connector comes off as a pigtail instead of plugging directly into the connector and housing because of the heatsink, which is the only true drawback that I can perceive. Your connection is less shielded as a result, and your bulb is less securely mounted in the housing. Now that you know that everything is being kept cold by a lovely, proper heatsink, perhaps the trade-off is worthwhile. I can't really criticize the design of these too much because it seems like the bulbs won't fall out once the o-rings are in place.Overall, you will share my satisfaction with these.

These LEDs really make a difference when backing up. My 2002 Toyota Sequoia's factory lights were removed, and these LEDs were installed in their stead. Now, it becomes like a spotlight back there. You must insert them carefully because if you jam them too firmly into the socket, they won't turn on. I advise putting them in with the PARKING BRAKE engaged and your key in the ON position. When everything is ready, engage the transmission, put it in reverse so you can see exactly where the taillight should go into the socket, and then shake the taillight to double-check everything. I say this in case you remove the light assembly, remove the old bulbs, replace them, bolt the system back together, and then go to verify your work and the lights don't work.

The second truck is this one. For the reverse lighting, I utilized JDM ASTAR bulbs. My 1992 Chevrolet was mine for 25 years. My previous truck is 3" wider in my garage. The additional bright bulbs came in very handy when I was backing my truck in. With the exception of when the sun was exactly at the wrong angle, I could see well enough to cautiously reverse. After installing the ASTAR LED bulbs, I stopped replacing bulbs altogether. Unfortunately, when I sold my truck, I neglected to remove the amazing bulbs. I placed replacement orders.I've already ordered replacement LED lights for my new truck three times! Other sellers promote the fit of their bulbs. They failed to. When I proved that the advertisement was bogus, Amazon helped me obtain a complete refund. I ought to have ordered these earlier to avoid wasting time and aggravation.Take note of the variations in illumination. The left side of the vehicle is readily visible on the roadway. The LED is on the left side of me. I've ordered two bulbs, so don't worry. This picture was only shot to show the differences.

I installed them as replacement instrument cluster lights since I enjoy how bright they are. There is a flaw in the design that might affect you. On either side, the contact wire emerges and circles to the opposite side of the plastic. In my case, a dead short was being created since I had contact points on both sides of the bulb housing. All I had to do to fix the problem was bend the contact wire over so it was on one side, but if you're not paying attention, this might result in highly perplexing electrical difficulties and possibly blow fuses. I just deducted one star for this since I'm not sure how many users will be impacted and because the brightness is excellent and the bulb size was very close to that of a glass 194, so I'm willing to overlook this.
