To be fair, I just got this today, so if anything changes, I'll have to update. But at my place, this item has already changed the game. It has been much simpler for me and the kids to play with my Australian shepherd as much as she wants to because she loves chasing the ball. There is significantly less slobber to deal with, the kids can throw the ball much farther, and my shoulder muscles are greatly relaxed. Even better, I can play with her over my lunch break without worrying about ruining my formal clothes. Chuck it balls (medium 2.5 tennis ball size), as well as standard tennis balls, have thus far functioned flawlessly with this. fully endorse!

My 2-year-old Westie is an excitable pup with a lot of attitude. Although she has more than 50 toys, tennis balls are by far her favorite. Despite our best efforts, she refuses to fetch (I should say bring it back). Given that she was bred to hunt and kill little rodents, it's as though that goes against her DNA. She plays with it from the moment she wakes up until it gets dark because she truly adores it. She's willing to bring the ball close enough to the machine because she loves it so much. She is very cute as she waits for the ball to go off. Her tail suddenly stops wagging and pins itself straight (westie trait when they are focusing). Even after receiving a few blows to the face from balls, she still enjoys gazing directly into the laughing hole. She undoubtedly approves, so let's talk about the machine now.I appreciate that the machine can store two additional balls. Although I haven't used the battery, it is a useful function. Additionally, the machine has a remote, which I adore. Without moving, I can choose between settings and turn it on and off. I appreciate that you may select parameters and combine them. I am aware that setting 1 is weak, but you should also be aware that this machine is made to accommodate dogs of all sizes and shapes. Setting 3 is powerful and ideal for medium-sized to larger dogs. Why some individuals claim it doesn't go far enough baffles me. Setting 3 would smash a window because it is at least 40 feet away. Setting 2 and 3 are favorites of my 15-pound westie, however they are the only ones without a mixed setting. No big deal! Since we have been playing 4-5 hours per day for the past 3 days, there have been no jams. The three tennis balls that were included are of terrible quality; the very first day, my dog "skinned" all of them. I spent $16 on another set of 15 for her, and they're great. Because this device fires miniature tennis balls, it is best suited for small to medium-sized dogs (of course unless your Great Dane likes mini tennis balls). Since she likes to stare down the hole, I can't imagine getting a conventional size one shooter because it would surely take her eyes out. She did attempt to skin the miniature tennis ball, but since this is corrective behavior, you only need to say "no." Additionally, just use two to three balls at once, and they have so far held up. Since she destroyed a $10 toy in about 15 minutes, it's not really "cheap." Overall, it makes me and her happy, and she is exercising well when the temperature outdoors is 105 degrees. I have nothing to complain about.

Years ago, I owned a device like this that used balls of standard size, and my dogs adored it. My expectations were more than surpassed by this one. The ball is thrown 30 feet, so yes. I would advise against using this as a substitute for playing with your dog. I wouldn't advise putting this up for your dog if you thought he would play while you were gone at work. The interaction between you and your dog should take place here. Who is going to tell him how smart he is if he throws the ball in and you are not there? My two Corgis, who have powerful jaws but prefer a smaller ball, will use this. I can instruct it to launch one ball, then another on the way out. Yes, every dog returns with a ball. To save on batteries, I would advise using the plug if you are inside or have access to an outside outlet. I wouldn't unattendedly leave it plugged in outside.

I'll just say that the first version of iFetch makes me loathe customer service. They are unwelcoming and uninterested in your needs.I had to try out the "iFetch too" version in spite of my fears because the first one was a complete failure for my dog (everything had limitations), and their customer service was appalling. However, because Amazon's excellent service was backing up the second one, I felt comfortable taking that chance. My dog is a highly active Boston terrier who is two years old. He plays ball for more than five hours each day. We thus desired something along these lines, and as he had already received training on the first generation of the ifetch, he quickly recognized that it is a larger version and began using it as soon as it was delivered. For the past five months, he has spent nearly every day for a total of two hours playing with it both indoors and outside. I'll say it again: every day for two hours for the past five months, and the machine hasn't displayed any signs of malfunctioning like the one before. Therefore, there is no need to speak with customer support at this time. I do clean it once every two weeks and charge it every day, especially when he uses it outside. To avoid the slobber issue, which slows the tennis ball when playing outside, we usually keep an eye on him and switch tennis balls frequently. Additionally, he prefers to catch the tennis ball itself at the opening rather than pursuing it when it's more wet. Penn tennis balls are what we use for this, and they appear to be effective. He is pushing the machine's limitations even as I write this article, so one could say he is a beta tester for this model. He now plays alone, takes breaks in between, plays again, and keeps doing that. Definitely interested in purchasing more of their items in the future and will strongly suggest this version.******Update*****After nine months, it's still going strong. Just keep cleaning and replacing tennis balls when they become too damp. However, I still give it 5 stars.******Update*******More than a year later, it's still going strong as ever. My dog plays outside, so I just opened up the rear of the iFetch to clean it and discovered a lot of grass and ball hair inside (see pic). Cleaning was simple, and everything is ready for use.******Update*******Finally, the iFetch crashed on us after 1.8 years of service. The item is now broken since the rubber rolls inside deteriorated. Now placing another order.

Normally, I don't spend the time writing reviews, but in this situation, I felt the need to correct several errors that had been made.1. The Launcher only enters a sleep mode after 60 seconds; as soon as you insert a ball, it comes to life again.2. Though the distance may not be 40 feet, it is still quite respectable. Two of our three German shepherds, who are just turning one, are incredibly retrieve and throw obsessed, to the point that it was driving the other two and us insane. After setting up the device, he was having a blast and we were at peace in less than 10 minutes. He and the other dogs were forced to learn the hard way that when the ball gets in and it makes its noise, watch out or be beaned. We have discovered that tennis balls work the best in this situation.

Because it takes a lot of design and technology to create anything this ambitious, I was very doubtful when I read the description. But everything is present. It's the ideal toy to tease your dog with, so whoever made it has a great sense of humor. It is shown in my video responding to the dog automatically. This kind of toy normally gets destroyed by my test dog, a border collie mix, but the "Wicked Bone" has held up through numerous sessions and more than 30 minutes in total. The manual mode, where it switches between remote control car and pinball machine attract mode, is also fantastic. Since our lab mix isn't particularly interested in it, I think your dog's temperament will be key to your success. He's (white) visible in the backdrop of the video; he's just munching, haha. So this is an excellent activity for occupying a high-energy or work-motivated dog.Pairing, installing apps, and charging all went smoothly. The whole thing does make sense when seen as a whole. (A Google Pixel 2 phone was used for the test.)

Our ball-loving dog has been ecstatic since we got the petsafe automatic ball launcher around ten days ago. She positions herself for the ball since she knows that the melodic chime signals that it is about to be launched (you can see in the video). She isn't scared by the actual ball launch, which is quite loud, but I was concerned about our neighbors. Fortunately, they assured me that they could hardly hear it when they were seated on the opposite side of the wall! We're just trying to get Willow to do it on her own at this point. When she runs away to catch a ball, we have been placing a little treat on the launcher's rim. She notices the treat and drops it in when she returns with the ball.I'm relieved that I don't have to worry about her getting struck in the eye because the safety sensor has always functioned as intended. We would like to see an adjustable timer in upcoming versions. For instance, we would like the flexibility to alter it in 10-minute increments or to fully override the 15-minute on/15-minute off setting.

My dog is a Shiba Inu. Shibas aren't known for fetching and coming back; rather, they like to fetch and keep away, but when you have multiple balls, they fetch and stockpile! My Shiba will squat down and prepare to give chase as soon as he hears the warning tone. He will run and catch balls until I am exhausted, but as a Shiba, loading the machine is beyond his ability! However, he adores the game! However, be careful that each launch causes the toque from the machine to rotate a little bit, so if you use it indoors, put it down on a sticky or non-skid surface!

I didn't return the item because it was broken or because I didn't like it (which is why I gave it 4 stars). The gadget is incredibly simple to use and delivers the miniature balls without a hitch. My dog adored it to the fullest! The size of the balls, nevertheless, was a concern for me. They resemble a ping pong ball in terms of size. My dog enjoyed it, but he regarded the balls more as a chew toy than as actual balls, and I knew from prior interactions with him that he would eventually swallow them.I definitely recommend this product if you have a little dog who normally plays with smaller balls or one who will play with the size that is offered adequately. I'm sorry to have to return my puppy, but it's unfortunate that it doesn't belong in that group.

I'm not sure if others who have given this product poor ratings have unrealistic expectations for it, but we spent $129 for it, and I believe it was well worth it. We've experienced no problems. It doesn't launch very far (make sure parameters are as directed, since it is explicit on how to have it travel the furthest distance), but given what you're working with, I'm not sure if you could expect much more. It's not meant to resemble a real tennis ball launcher you may see at a court! We have two huge dogs who use it, so I'm pleased with the distance. Since they are exhausted after 15 minutes, it must be working. To replace them, we purchased standard tennis balls, and everything is good (dogs chewed up original ones). Personally, I think this creation is brilliant. It's still labor-intensive because our dogs haven't mastered self-reloading, but they will soon learn. They enjoy the anticipation of the ball emerging from the hole and are familiar with the sound it makes just before it takes off. Overall, we are pleased with the outcome!
A ball launcher is a great way to have fun with your dog and keep them active. Here are some tips on how to use a ball launcher: -Choose a ball that is the right size for your dog. -Make sure the ball is not too hard for your dog to catch. -Start with the ball launcher close to the ground. -Gradually increase the height of the ball launcher as your dog gets used to it. -Make sure your dog is always supervised when using the ball launcher.
A cotton ball launcher is a device that uses air pressure to launch cotton balls. It consists of a chamber, a barrel, and a nozzle. The chamber is filled with air, and the barrel is filled with cotton balls. The nozzle is used to launch the cotton balls.
How far can you throw a Chuckit? The Chuckit is a great way to play fetch with your dog. But how far can you actually throw it? Well, it depends on a few factors, such as your own strength and the weight of the ball. But generally speaking, you should be able to throw a Chuckit ball around 30 to 40 feet. So get out there and have some fun with your furry friend!
The amount of time you spend playing ball with your dog depends on a number of factors, including your dog's age, energy level, and interest in the game. If your dog is a puppy, you may want to keep play sessions shorter to avoid over-stimulation. Adult dogs with high energy levels may need longer play sessions to burn off excess energy, while older dogs or those with lower energy levels may be content with shorter sessions. Ultimately, it's up to you to gauge how long to play ball with your dog based on your individual pet's needs.
