I own the Bellari EQ570, Schiit Loki, and JDS Labs Subjective 3. At their current pricing point, I give each of them four stars because they are all helpful.The EQ570 has the best build quality out of the 3. The JDS is the smallest and has a somewhat rustic appearance. The Loki seems somewhat hand-made. Since none of them are entirely transparent, an upscale installation is not appropriate for them. However, when utilized in moderation as a part of a system, they can improve the sound. You can overdrive the bass to create distortion, the treble to create sibilance and tizz, and the mids to create a hollow, barrel-like sound.Therefore, take it slowly and select the EQ that includes the necessary filters.

formerly used Bluetooth to connect headphones to my receiver. It worked flawlessly. My situation, which has nothing to do with Bluetooth, required me to take the hdmi signal and send it to the bluetooth transmitter. However, I haven't yet discovered a gadget that can record all audio traveling to a receiver, whatever mode it may be in, and put it in Bluetooth or headphones while still allowing the receiver to transmit the audio out to my speakers. It would be fantastic if someone could find a solution. Today's receivers feature a headphone jack that often cuts off the audio, so if you want to listen in a noisy place through the headphones and still have output, you have to plug and unplug it depending on the situation.

It truly amplifies and clarifies the voice. When someone was speaking, I hated having to change the volume, only to reach for the remote when a really loud action sequence started. Had these supported wifi streaming, I would have rated it five stars, but I was disappointed to see that they do not. To hook into it, you need a source. After making numerous additional purchases (directly from Aftermaster Pro), I discovered what had happened to me. Only the one "dumb" TV I have will support them. Aftermaster, the product's manufacturer, was contacted, and they promptly accepted the return and provided me a full refund (I covered shipping). Bravo to them. Now give them a wifi receiver so they can function as their own streaming source, and let me know how it goes.

Because I connect my subwoofers to the sub output on my head unit, the 60 or 90 hz choices is not important to me because I purchased this equalizer only for its nine band capability rather than for its crossover ability. My mids and highs sound fantastic when I only use the EQ for those frequencies. The Rockville R7EQ model is a good choice if you require an equalizer with excellent crossover functionality because it includes crossover function from 40Hz to 250Hz with infinite adjustment anywhere in between. The sole drawback of the Rockville, in my opinion, is that it only has 7 bands, as opposed to the AP's 9 bands, and was slightly less expensive. The AP has push-button knobs that pop out when you push them, allowing you to make adjustments before pushing it again to make sure they don't get damaged. Since the majority of these EQs share a similar appearance and the power/ground/remote on both my Rockville and Audiopipe are interchangeable—you can unplug one and plug the other in immediately—I think they were all produced in the same facility. To my ears, the extra two frequency adjustments on the audiopipe don't seem to make much of a difference. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't have spent the extra money on the AP and instead would have used the Rockville. However, the Rockville didn't go to waste because I eventually used it to build a small system in my Jeep.
