The item serves my purpose of carrying my architectural maps and drawings, however I had thought that the tube and strap would be a little more robust. The strap is really fragile and even fell out when I used it for the first time this morning. It is so thin that I had to tie a knot in order to use it as a strap. For prolonged use, I will either need to purchase a new transport tube or change the strap to make it simpler to carry.

Although not as robust as I'd want, a fine carrier nonetheless. I was able to transport my large poster (approximately 34 inches wide) safely from the east to the west coast. The tube will telescope more as the document gets bigger, which makes it less stable. It was still fine because I wasn't nearly at the tube's maximum capacity. Not a fantastic strap. The strap is somewhat useless when the tube is longer because it doesn't have enough slack to comfortably go over your shoulder.

I purchased this draft tube to keep a collapsed 42-inch tenkara fishing rod. Unfortunately, it didn't actually serve that goal all that well. The tube's maximum extension, which is 42 inches, is where it is most shaky. However. I have a number of other Tenkara rods that collapse to a much lesser length. The tube has a large enough diameter to accommodate two or three rods, and when utilized in this manner, it performs admirably.US Art Supply swiftly and without charging for shipping sent the tube. I have one 4-1/2" diameter tube and two 3-3/4" diameter tubes. I keep vinyl banners in all three so I may transport them to other places. This US Art was superior despite having purchased all four kinds to test.Regarding the strap, I have two issues. Contrary to what the photo purports, the strap is NOT longer than any other brand. The strap is tightly stretched out when the tube length is adjusted to the maximum. The other people were all the same.Second, the two red plastic rings that hold the strap in place are constructed in very poor quality and are prone to breaking with use.To correct this, I took off the red rings and threw them away along with the short strap. I then replaced the cheap ones with "Lashing Strap, Tie Down Straps Cargo Tie-Down Straps" and 18" 1/4 black Zip Lock straps. We use these to carry things over our shoulders while riding a motorcycle to school, among other things. I required a lengthy strap that could be altered to fit people of various sizes. I currently own three with sturdy, long straps.I'm a contented client!
