I bought several photo frames at the neighborhood store. Because I was installing my own matting, I took the backing and clips out of the frames. The clamps had to be removed because my matting was thicker. I bought this pincer to replace the clips I took out. It performed flawlessly. My new mats and frames came together in a matter of minutes. I do advise initially reducing the "Depth" option. A few clips will be wasted, but by adjusting the depth setting, you can achieve the ideal clip depth. Additionally, because the clip being inserted presses against the wood frame, either place the wood frame side against a firm surface (such as a wall) or hold it tightly. Only 3 clips were wasted before I found the ideal setup. I would strongly advise purchasing one of these weapons if you frequently remat or replace the photographs in frames that use these kind of clips. I'd also advise not bending the clips; instead, just take out the old ones and put in new ones. 600 clips are available for less than $10. Excellent stuff, and I heartily endorse it. Additionally, Adorama Camera is a fantastic store to shop at. Since I started using them in the 1980s, I have made over 50 purchases from them without any issues.

The actual Cutter is the ideal size to accommodate any size of the hand, and I enjoy how The entire cutter is composed of plastic, but Martor has a mild rubber texture for comfort and grip that molds to the hand for ease of usage. For the first time, I own a cutter from Martor, which I highly recommend over ones from Home Depot or any other hardware store. There are a few minor drawbacks, such as the fact that when cutting bundles of cardboard, some of the pieces got caught in it and some glue, but overall, the cutter is fantastic. This is something that every employee or company should have because it complies with OSHA regulations and is both safe and simple to replace the blade. Overall, MARTOR is a wonderful cutter and is advised for safety.

My spouse used reclaimed oak barn board to craft a photo frame for me. I wasn't sure what I would need to use to hold the glass, image, and backing board in the frame because the wood is so firm. I just started making cards, but I've already produced around 200 cards and envelops. That indicates that I have cut a lot of paper. I regret very much not using this Fiskars trimmer first because it is so precise. It cuts cleanly! I was mistaken in thinking that the uneven cutting was my responsibility. I started cutting this right away after taking it out of the box an hour ago (I still need to make approximately 100 cards for my project), and the trimming is excellent! The great plus is that it can be used with a scoring blade, which I also bought. The blade removal is incredibly easy. It is extremely convenient to simply score my cards on the trimmer for a single fold.If you are a card maker and are searching for a trimmer, keep in mind that you really want one with a platform of 6" so that it is very exact. With the fold out arm at 4 inches, it is quite challenging to accurately measure fractions above 4". As card makers, we shouldn't make another concession by using a paper trimmer that can't accommodate 12" by 12" paper! The platforms of the other trimmer kinds are 4", and all of the smaller guillotine cutters go to 10". Given these limitations, I'm very happy with the trimmer I bought.

When I came upon this product when looking for point drivers, I decided to explore the manufacturer. The company struck me more than the product, which has received a lot of contradictory reviews online. They have a long history and appear to make high-quality products. I felt the cost was a little excessive, but it would be worthwhile to make the purchase now rather than having to buy another one in a year when the cheaper one breaks. Along with Fletcher-Terry Co Framers Stacked Points 08-950, I also received this driver. This point driver is used by my wife to mount the canvas panels for her paintings into the frames (which come in a variety of woods and finishes), and it always does an excellent job. I think this product is fantastic and I definitely suggest it.

I've used this tool to cut a number of mats so far, and I find it to be accurate, simple to use, and reasonably priced. With careful application, the bevel cuts do really produce professional-looking results. The mat is held in place for the bevel cuts by a very well calibrated parallel ruler, and the bevel cutter itself guides along the unit with little effort. (One caveat: You should usually stick to 2-ply mats, while doubled mats can provide the appearance of layers by placing the broader mat outside the inner one.) A knife is also included in the kit for cutting larger mat sheets (which usually come 32x40" and fit in the cutter, which the knife uses as a guide).Although art stores sell precut bevel mats, I use a Canon PRO-10 photo printer and do my own digital photography, so I often find that the printed photos are different sizes from the precut mats, necessitating the use of a tool like this for both bevels that fit the pictures and mats cut to fit the frames from art stores. Exhibit-quality prints require a bevel-cut mat that looks professional, and I'm getting that with this cutter.The unit comes with extra blades and a DVD with some very useful instructional movies, though there is more information and the videos on the Logan website as well. Bevel cut size calculations can be challenging, but Logan does a great job of explaining the process.Logan does offer more complex cutters, but for me, a hobbyist, this particular tool offers excellent value for the money, saves significantly on precut art supplies or custom framing, and is perfectly suited to my needs. strongly advise, especially for hobbyist framers or photographers.

Excellent value for the money. It produces almost flawless mats if you know what you're doing. for crisp, straight cuts, apply firm pressure to the cutting guide, and extend the cutting time for crisp edges. Before purchasing this item, I had already sketched the cut lines on the front side of the mat so that I could cut them with a Xacto knife. I didn't sketch them again on the reverse since I was too lazy. I therefore only applied this solution on the mat's front side, and it continued to operate perfectly. not even a press mark.
