excellent quality I've tried a lot of string suppliers, but this one meets all my requirements. I can't believe how many companies can't get this one right, but the loops are the ideal size. There are either too huge to pass a baseball through them or too small to fit over my tips. Second, they have an astounding range of sizes. I can purchase strings as short as 70" to accommodate my longest bows and as long as my grandbabies' Osage small bow. As long as I continue to make bows, Keshes will have my business. I own three recurves from the 1980s: a Hoyt Easton, a Colorado Bighorn, and a Bear Grizzly.Due to the fact that each upper limb tip extends past the nocks far enough to permit a tip-to-tip stringer, I can safely assume that they date from a time when archery companies knew what they were doing.On each, this stringer performs flawlessly. It might be too short for a 64" bow, but in the past, when I had a larger bow, I would cut one stringer's chord and knot in a length of fine nylon rope. For years, it worked flawlessly until I sold the bow.

I had no idea how to obtain a replacement string because I am a complete novice at archery, but fortunately the information and buying guidelines are quite clear (and the other customers who responded to my issue were also very helpful), and the string was excellent! God, this string, oh my god. Dacron comes first; do I need to say more? I do? Buckle up, it's going to be a wild journey. I purchased this string for my traditional Hungarian 55# bow. Although it's a little bit shorter than the supplied string, I opted to use it after learning that others have done so without experiencing the dreaded "limb in the eye" incident. No remorse. This string looks like dental floss in compared to the one I got with the bow. My arrows not only have a more pleasant resonance in my palm, but they also appear to be striking targets faster and harder. The string itself appears to be a little waxed, but it still looks goddammit wonderful. least when contrasted with other strings. No doubt a good thing, at least in my opinion. I don't get that from other strings; it gives it a sense of strength and craftsmanship. Other strings resemble a few thread strands that have been joined intermittently. This string seems both complex and straightforward at the same time. To explain is challenging. The images speak for themselves. Purchase this string if you need a new one.

Finally! I don't have to clean my bowstring with my own snot and act strange at the archery range. Seriously, don't do it. I recently purchased a 1986-vintage compound bow. It was fresh new and came in a box with the original string attached. It had a somewhat rough feel and offered slightly more resistance while drawing and firing. Instead of replacing the string, I choose to try waxing it to lubricate and smooth it out a bit. purchased a fantastic gluestick-sized piece of miraculous wax, and I tested it on the string. Like applying chapstick or gluestick, it is a pretty simple process. (Be careful when applying it to the string; if you press on it too firmly, the wax stick may develop unattractive indentations. Recall that little is more. The bow fired significantly better with a quieter "twang," "thwack," or whatever the sound effect is called after a few usage to work the wax into the string. It also started drawing much more smoothly and efficiently.For ANY style of bow or crossbow, I would most definitely suggest this to any archer, regardless of skill level or experience. However, I wouldn't advise using it as glue or chapstick.

These strings are identical to those that would be used if the stock ones that came with it were used. After first installation, they may somewhat stretch or creep, but that is to be expected. To increase the height of the brace, simply remove the string and give it a half- or full-twist. The 2019 Excalibur Bulldog I own fits perfectly with these. The creep took approximately 5 days to settle in, but it shoots accurately, and the height of my brace is between 1.5 and 2 inches. The perfect distance between it and the REDS is around 1/2". To anyone seeking for string to replace the stock ones, I would suggest these strings. Just make certain they are from Excalibur and have a 1992 model number.

This wax is effective. It is gentle and simple to apply on the bow string. Since you don't need much, the tube is exactly the same size as chapstick and should last for some time. The description states that you should apply after five shots. That's not how it's always been explained to me; you should apply it, say, after every third shooting session or when the string starts to feel dry. They might have meant after every fifth shooting session. It works wonderfully in any case!

Installing the cable dampeners was simple. After reading several reviews concerning installation troubles, I became concerned, but I had no complications. I took a pair of needle-nose pliers, placed them into the opening, grabbed the "tails," and pulled them through. It didn't take much "finger massaging" to get the lip through the hole, however.appeared to operate flawlessly. I like that installing the dampeners doesn't require removing the string.They did a passable job of damping the vibration, but not significantly. Bows are so various, so if you want to test them out, I believe it would be well to make the investment. They offer a quick and low-cost solution to the vibration noise. They might be perfect for your bow.

I probably should have looked into the source of this before placing the order. It clearly came from China by boat. It took several weeks for it to appear.
