Do not return your iMac if you received it and dislike how slow it is! Break up your Fusion Drive! This will enable the iMac's fast NVME 128GB storage, allowing you to install the operating system there and use a SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable External SSD - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDSSDE60-1T00-G25 as your fast storage (like I did), and the device will run incredibly quickly! The 2TB HDD can be used for storage as well, but because it is slow, I wouldn't suggest using it as your home folder. I switched from an i9 2018 6 core MacBook Pro to this iMac! Yes, it may sound absurd, but this computer actually outperforms it all day long, and the reason for this is simply that my MacBook's thermal throttling would prevent it from going faster than 2.7 GHz! My MacBook would constantly reach 100C, which is terrible. This device operates at 4.2 GHz all day long at 50–60°C without breaking a sweat. This device outperforms my 2018 i9 MacBook Pro. When my old one was updated a few years back, it performed decently for a while, but loading up QuickBooks and using a number of additional apps and tabs was slowing it down. Actually, I was going to get it from Best Buy, but since we live on an island off the coast of Washington, they flat-out refused to ship to us. So I decided to look on Amazon. Even if it wasn't particularly simple to transfer the old files to the new Mac (Google finally fixed it after a few conventional techniques didn't seem to complete the transfer), everything is fine. It was on the way and came perfectly in a matter of minutes. I hope it lasts as long as its predecessor did—ten years!

This computer has really impressed me. I'm astonished by how quickly it starts up with the SSD. Applications also load swiftly. The speakers and monitor are both excellent. I have not yet used the camera, so I can't offer any feedback. One serious problem caused me to consider lowering my rating by two stars: the CD/DVD drive initially made a jet plane-like takeoff noise. The tray nearly seems to not close securely enough. The same loud, unpleasant sound would occur roughly every fifth or sixth disc, albeit it didn't happen constantly. Because Amazon was kind enough to grant me a partial credit that will help me pay for an external CD/DVD drive, I choose to simply lower my rating by one star. After that was sorted, I would suggest this device for usage in the home or workplace.

Just two days after I received it, everything is functioning flawlessly. Wow, the pixels on the screen are different from the ones on the computer I use for work at home. arrived with a wireless keyboard, mouse, and instructions on how to connect them to an iMac. If your mouse and keyboard are wireless, you'll need to acquire AA batteries to install/sync them. This iMac is quick, attractive, and practically brand new. So far, I'm in love. My car arrived with a minor front damage, but it otherwise appears to be as new. The mouse appears used and has some minor scratches, but nothing unusual. Keyboard appears to be virtually new. Well-packaged, and delivery required a signature, which is helpful to prevent parcel loss. It was quick and simple for me to download my data from iCloud. Before purchasing the iMac, I sent them an email with some queries, and I can attest to the speedy customer service responses. This is all I have to say for the time being; watch as I use it further. I really like it, so I hope it lasts a long time! You can see that the dent in the picture is not a big one. We must recognize that it is reconditioned, not brand-new. The exterior won't be flawless. I'll keep you informed with reviews as I continue to use Amazon, if they let me.

I bought this refurbished all-in-one computer for my spouse because his inexpensive desk top was starting to malfunction. I have the identical HP all-in-one, except it has 4 RAM instead of 8 RAM, which makes it slightly slower. I bought him the 8 RAM because of the way he bemoans the speed of his computer. An added benefit is the bigger screen. I received a refurbished HP that appears to be fresh new. It arrived with what appears to be a brand-new, matching keyboard and mouse. Everything was spotless, and Windows 10 setup was simple. The display quality is excellent. Since I haven't tested the touch screen or the camera quality, I didn't rate those things.My husband's comments about speed are no longer necessary to hear, and the big screen greatly pleases him. Without all the wires and cords that come with desktop computers, these all-in-one PCs take up very little space on our desks. They offer a sleek appearance and all the features a desktop has, which is all we require for home use.We'll see how this refurbished HP performs over the long term because it's only been in use for a little over a month. But so far, so good.

The fact that it's all in one is nice. My previous three computers had problems opening and closing; either the wires became tangled or the plastic hinges broke, rendering them useless. Thus, I adore this one. Naturally, I can't bring it with me when I travel, but I do have a tablet that I can use instead. This features a fantastic screen, fast performance, and a sizable memory. So far, it's my favorite.

The screen was one of the key factors in my decision to buy this computer as a digital artist and designer, and I was in no way dissatisfied with it; it's easily the best-looking display I've seen in this size, bar none. It's great to have a dedicated GPU even on the entry-level 4K device, and the specs are generally good for the price as well. The one drawback of this computer is the terribly sluggish HDD that comes with it. Fortunately, this problem is easily fixed by booting from a much quicker external SSD, as I have done. Since it was undoubtedly the machine's main bottleneck, my performance has improved significantly since switching to the external SSD. Overall, really satisfied with the upgrade from a 2013 retina Macbook Pro; it's fantastic to have all this power and such a big, high-quality screen. The accompanying keyboard is excellent, but the uncomfortable magic mouse was a letdown.
