BB guns typically fire pellets that are made of steel or lead, and these pellets can penetrate the skin. Airsoft guns typically fire pellets that are made of plastic, and these pellets can cause bruising but are not likely to penetrate the skin.

Ocean Loong Airsoft BBS .20g 6mm pellets (Bag of 5k Rounds) with Speed Loader (Capacity of 100 Rounds) Review:

Order arrived on schedule and with a speedloader. The speedloader is easy to lock and smooth. The bbs themselves are very good. I went through a good number of them—roughly 60—and every one was smooth and orderly. The only issue I have is that the items came in a bag. I prefer sturdy containers that won't break if I chuck them around my house or whatever else. But when the bag is attached, it feels more fragile.

RWS Superdome Field Line Pellet Gun Pellets Review:

I've been getting 1 1/2 inch groups at 30 yards with my Daisy 880 while using Crosman hollow points. Today at 30 yards, I gave these superdomes a try, and I only saw a small improvement (1 inch to 1 1/4). I set up a piece of wood at a distance of 60 yards since I felt compelled to test these out farther away. As soon as I tried the Crosmans, I saw that two of the five spirals were off to the right. The set of the three that landed on the board measured about 5 inches. I then gave the superdomes a try, and after the first shot, I could really tell the difference. I could just make out the pellet flying because of the sun on its back. It created a precise descending arc, never spiraling, circling, or drifting. The five pellets all fell in a 2-inch clump, each one touching the other. As a result of my admiration, I returned to 100 yards! The one foot chunk of wood was completely at the bottom of my scope. After correcting the elevation with my third shot, I heard the pellet hit the wood a second later. At a distance of 100 yards, I hit the center of my next 4 pellets on the target. I wholeheartedly endorse these pellets, however keep in mind that you might not see a difference until you move out to some longer ranges.

Kvintor Fantom Air Gun Pellets .177 Caliber - Sound and Spark Effects - 50 Count Review:

They are fantastic when they function. tried out a variety of gun models and manufacturers. I'd say that 3 out of 10 actually hit the target and went off, all with the same outcome. The others are either tracers or don't fire at all. However, there is no bang when they collide. But you may use them to start fires.

Airsoft BBS 0.12g 6mm 2000 Rounds with an resealable Plastic Bottle& an Easy-Pour spout,Yellow Airsoft pellets Review:

Along with some of the cheapest airsoft guns on Amazon, I ordered these as the suggested buy. I also purchased the Crosman reusable targets, and I'm enjoying using them. Other bbs I purchased that promised to be biodegradable and the same weight are not even close to being as accurate as these. These come highly recommended if you purchase a cheap spring rifle.

RWS R10 Match Plus Premium Line .177 Caliber Pellet Gun Pellets (500 Count) Review:

I have purchased air pistol pellets from Amazon and its numerous vendors in a wide variety of sorts and brands. Because it relies on so many various things, I won't declare which is better than the other. Various air gins exist, including break barrel, single stroke, PCP, and CO2. A pellet type that functions well in one kind of air gun could perform poorly in another. Additionally, each rifle barrel differs marginally from the barrels of other weapons of the same class. Pellets may therefore behave differently in each rifle. My advice is to simply get a few different kinds and give it a shot. Cheap pellets can occasionally be quite effective, but they are typically inconsistent over time because to a lack of quality control. Sometimes during shipping, they sustain damage. JSB, H

Crosman Pointed/Dish Pellets 250 ct DS177 Review:

This review mostly focuses on the Crossman Destroyer, however it also raises some issues for those who are thinking about purchasing the Destroyer EX.The standard destroyer is a pellet that functions as intended. For your assessment of the EX product offered by Walmart, use it as a starting point. Yes, the Walmart offshoot is VERY affordable. You believe that the price is right. However, everything is relative. Either one is fine if you're shooting targets for practice. Avoid using the EX version if your goals involve controlling the population of small animals. You'll experience constant heartbreak. You see, the EX version doesn't penetrate and expands too quickly. In the end, you wound up maiming the animal. You either see them in the neighborhood three days later, belly up, or they either walk or fly away wounded. Not ONE distinct experience, only hours or days of agony.KNOW YOUR USE and purchase appropriately. On YouTube, there is a fantastic visual presentation. Clay was sliced in half when the protester shot through it. The result of the Crossman regular vs. the EX is clear-cut. Hope this was useful.

Daisy Outdoor Products Review:

I am a benchrest and long-range competition target sponsored athlete. I have also long been an airgunner. When you aren't at the range every day, concentrating on long-range shooting helps you get your long-range center fire abilities tighter. These are by no means premium pellets, but they do make excellent break-in pellets for practically nothing. I find it difficult to understand the complaints that mention size difficulties because I have used thousands of them to break in new.177 calibers and have never experienced a problem with irregular dimensions. Although only in guns with 15 ftlb, stability difficulties do emerge. I've used a lot of Co2 pistols that shoot them really well. I've also had a lot of sub-12 rifles that I could stack closely out to approximately 30 yards. If your gun shoots them well, the very low B.C won't trouble you until it's really windy in which case the outrageously low B.C will come into play due to wind drift (even for wadcutters, they take the cake for the lowest B.C I've ever seen). Even at their extremely low price and low quality, they can be a fairly accurate pellet in sub-12 rifles. Even by regular wadcutter standards, the extremely low B.C. results in an incredible drop. It won't matter if your gun shoots closely to them if you are only shooting from 20 to 25 yards away. You shouldn't have that amount of drop per yard with any other wadcutters, even in 10ftlb guns, until at least 60 yards. From 25 to 30 the low BC is worth around 9 inches of drop in 5 yards. The amount of wing drift at 30 yards in a 5 mph breeze with a 90 degree angle to the flight path is likewise absolutely unbelievable. These items fly in the wind like kites... But going back to the earlier point, if you fire between 10 and 25 yards with low wind and your gun likes these, you have it made financially. You can't beat this if you need dirt cheap lead to break in these. They should be washed in hot water with a little dawn, rinsed, and dried thoroughly before being lightly lubricated and then used in your pistol as short-range tack drivers.

Crosman Powershot Red Flight Penetrators Premium Pellets, 100 Count Review:

I bought many hundred of these pellets for one specific reason: on my first trip to the dump to shoot an Air Ordinance SMG—a belt-fed, fully automatic submachinegun powered by HPA or CO2—I wanted to obliterate things. With that SMG, I wanted to rend, tear, and crush things. These Crosman Penetrators are as tough as hell and pierce like demons, according to my previous experience using them in other airguns. They are so tough that when a friend shot one with a terribly weak airgun, the penetrator pellet bounced off a log and came back to dent his head. They don't alter shape. On impact, they frequently lose the red plastic skirt, but the pellets generally do not alter form and penetrate most materials better than virtually any other pellet you may use.So, fair warning: unless you're aiming at a bullet trap or a soft material that will grab and hold the pellet, do not use these pellets in anything that pushes less than 500 FPS. If you have a low-velocity airgun, avoid shooting at anything hard from a close distance, such as old oak stumps or metal plates, unless you want the pellets to chase you back. And never, never, never forget to wear appropriate eye protection.I've split two-by-fours in half, blown cinderblocks and bricks to pieces, and chopped two-by-fours in half using my SMG to fire a rain of these Crosman Penetrators at around 600 FPS and 700 RPM. I've used these on actual ballistic gel, and all I can say is that when fired from an SMG, they quickly demolish a block of ballistic gel. The SMG is advertised as a plinker rather than a defense or antipersonnel weapon, but if I showed you a video of what these tough, heavy pellets do to a block of ballistic gel when they are fired at a rate of 12 rounds per second, you would probably follow my lead and always keep the SMG loaded with them while also keeping a bottle of gas nearby for potentially dangerous emergencies.I've used the SMG with typical lead pellets, including hollowpoint, hollowpoint, and pointed. more substantial than others. In my experience, none of them have the same level of destructive power as these Crosman Penetrators, and I've had a lot of fun blowing stuff up at the dump with them. I always have several of them on hand, and as I type this, the 100-round ammo belt in the drum slung under my SMG is loaded from end to end with Crosman Penetrators. In fact, the box with the belt clip is the best method to carry them in the field, and I've retained the empty boxes for reuse. There are a few full CO2 bottles next to it. I'm prepared for the end of the world, or at the very least the upcoming possum invasion.

Kvintor Air Gun Hunting Pellets .177 Caliber 10ct Darts Review:

Okay, folks. This review is genuine, I assure you! I've never placed a new order the same day I received something. The purpose for why I purchased these darts was to supplement my bug-out bag supplies for sneakily hunting small wildlife. Wow, too! Even though it was nighttime and I was using a headlamp to see, I will admit that I was striking my 1/2" plywood shop door and punching through it at a distance of 20 yards. At around 60 plus, I was still hitting it, and it was deep enough that I couldn't get the darts out. If you buy them, I promise you'll be amazed! Currently, I use a bear river tpr 1200 break barrel air rifle with a 1200 fps rating. There are no concerns with the darts lodging in the barrel because of how tightly they fit, which also makes for a better seal. Remember that a high velocity air gun at close range will only be used once! But let's face it, that's how things will be in an emergency bug out situation, so stock up before I purchase them all! Lol
