Ninja Air Fryer, 1550-Watt Programmable Base for Air Frying, Roasting, Reheating & Dehydrating with 4-Quart Ceramic Coated Basket (AF101), Black/Gray Review:

An air fryer just seemed like a replacement that I didn't need because I try not to eat fried food and never felt like I was missing out by not having a deep fryer. I therefore had my doubts about how much I would use it—perhaps for a few frozen tater tots or kids' fries. However, I want to use this for everything, oh my goodness. This is what I like to imagine as a personal convection oven on steroids. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside: veggie burgers. With only a 3-minute preheating period, roasted vegetables, fish sticks, poultry, burgers, fries, and fish all cook roughly 30–40% faster than in an oven (vs 6-10 oven minutes).Couples or roommates that wish to eat anything other than microwaved mush should try this out. Families that want a better way to prepare "fried" sides like fries, mozzarella sticks, or chicken strips will also love it. Compared to cookie sheets, cleaning up is so much simpler. Very good nonstick coating on the tub and the browning air fry tray make cleanup as easy as rinsing and wiping.Cons, then, is a tricky one. The greatest drawbacks are that, if you enjoy the concept of using this oven as your primary oven as well, you might need to purchase a few extra kitchen items like silicon-tipped tongs to toss or flip your food. In order to avoid overcooking your food, you'll also need to have a feel for how much faster something cooks. Fortunately, checking on the food is simple and just requires a quick peek. Once you've got the timing down, setting the controls is quite simple, the timer turns it off automatically, and there isn't as much heat carryover to worry about as there is with an oven.OVERALL... I heartily suggest it because it cooks practically everything to perfection and has controls that are just as easy to use and understand as those on my Ninja blender.

COSORI CP158-AF (100 Recipes), 5.8 Quart, 1700 Watt Electric Hot Air Fryers Oven & Oilless Cooker for Roasting, LED Digital Touchscreen with 11 Presets, QT, Black Review:

I'll start by saying that I detest cooking. The clutter bothers me. It takes far too long. My cooking is really bad, and my recipes never turn out the way they do in the cookbooks. Since receiving the Cosori Air Fryer a few weeks ago, I've been enjoying cooking every day, several times a day.It only has to be taken out of the box to be used. Before adding food, just the removable basket and pan required to be cleaned in soapy water. The buttons have clear instructions. Fries for fries, bacon for bacon, and Preheat and Keep Warm are all available. You also have a snowflake for frozen meals.I wasn't sure what to expect when I initially turned it on. I was concerned that it would become hot and burn my counter (or me). I anticipated it to be noisy. All of those things weren't it. Although it doesn't get as hot as an oven, it does get a little heated outside. Being that the fryer works so quickly and gets food that hot so quickly, you do need to exercise caution when removing the basket or any food from inside. You can hear the air flowing, but I wouldn't describe it as loud. The air fryer is not far from my Alexa, and the Alexa clearly understands me when I speak while the air fryer is operating. You can also tell from the proximity of my Alexa to the air fryer that it doesn't get too hot or spew anything at you, otherwise I wouldn't have the Alexa there. On my counter, the air fryer looks fantastic as well. It has already started to spark conversation in my kitchen. This past weekend, I had family visit, and they were curious about it. Everyone gathered to see me perform a type of culinary demonstration before devouring the entire spread (not a scrap was left on the dishes!). They then exclaimed that they too should purchase an air fryer.I have so far attempted recipes from the guidebook that came with the appliance as well as a chicken fried steak recipe from an air fryer cookbook that I bought separately. Each dish in the Cosori air fryer's cookbook comes with a picture, which is fantastic because it makes the ingredients less frightening for people like me who don't enjoy cooking. Most items used in recipes are ones you've likely heard of and already have in your pantry, which is great for me because I detest wasting time in grocery stores looking for a bizarre ingredient I'll only use sometimes.I made the sweet potato fries from the accompanying Cosori cookbook as my very first recipe. Although I definitely could have cooked the fries in the air fryer for a few more minutes than the recipe suggested because I like my fries a little crunchy, they were still great. The greatest sweet potato fries I've ever had, without a doubt. Then, just for fun, I added some frozen okra that I had purchased in the freezer area. I simply squirted a little olive oil onto the okra while it was in the air fryer basket and pressed the snowflake button after buying a water bottle and filling it with the oil. The okra turned out incredibly crispy, exactly as I prefer it. And I was astounded to see how quickly it transformed from frozen to crispy crunchy. The majority of them were golden brown, but I could identify which ones I had forgotten to spray with olive oil when I was spraying the okra. Those were white; they were still crunchy and delicious, but they had an odd appearance. Since then, I've purchased a pressurized oil sprayer can made exclusively for spraying olive oil, and it performs significantly better than my plastic water bottle at evenly spritzing everything. On to my third recipe that same night: chicken fried steak. This recipe wasn't included in the Cosori cookbook, though. I had no idea how this particular cookbook will end out since it lacked a photo. I've made it twice in three nights because it's so wonderful.Sweet potato fries, frozen okra that was air-fried, and chicken fried steak made up the complete menu that night that was prepared in the air fryer. After preparing all of that, my kitchen wasn't a complete mess, but it seemed like an elegant feast that took very little time to prepare. In place of pots, pans, and baking dishes, I just had a few plates and a few bowls heaped up on my counter, along with a filthy stove to clean. The following day, I tried the mozzarella cheese sticks from the Cosori cookbook that was supplied. I completely messed up this recipe by using cornstarch instead of baking soda. Did I mention that I am a terrible cook? However, the mozzarella sticks were a success (but not great, which was likely my own fault). They rapidly and wonderfully crisped up. Simply put, they didn't resemble the recipe book's illustration in the least. The inside of the cheese should have been more melted, in my opinion.

COSORI Air Fryer(100 Free Recipes Book), 1500-Watt Programmable Base for Air Frying, Roasting&Keep Warm, Electric Hot Oven Oilless Cooker,11 Cooking Presets, LED Touch Screen,2-Year Warranty,3.7QT Review:

First off, I absolutely hate cooking. I don't like the mess. It takes too much time. My recipes never turn out like they show in the cookbooks...and my cooking is pretty awful. I got the Cosori Air Fryer a couple of weeks ago, and I've been happily cooking every day, multiple times a day since. You just pull it out of the box, and it's ready to go. The detachable basket and pan are all that needed cleaning in soapy water before adding food. The buttons are self-explanatory. You've got a snowflake for frozen foods, fries for fries, bacon for bacon, and also Preheat and Keep Warm. When I first turned it on, I wasn't sure what to expect. I wondered if it was going to get hot and scorch my counter (or me) (or me). I thought it would be noisy. It was none of those things. It does get a little warm on the outside but not hot like an oven. You do need to be careful when you're pulling the basket out or any food from inside the fryer because it's deceiving that it works so quickly and gets food that hot that fast. As for noise, you can hear the air moving, but I wouldn't call it noisy. My Alexa is near the air fryer, and the Alexa hears me just fine when I'm talking while the air fryer is running. Also, since my Alexa is near the air fryer, you can tell that the air fryer doesn't get too hot or spit things at you or I wouldn't have the Alexa there. The air fryer looks great on my counter too. It's already become a conversation piece in my kitchen. I had family over this weekend, and they wanted to know what it was. I put on a kitchen demo of sorts, and everyone stood around and watched, then ate all of the food (not a crumb left on the plates!), and then they said they needed to get an air fryer too.So far, I've tried recipes in the included recipe book as well as a recipe for chicken fried steak in an air fryer cookbook I purchased separately. What's great about the cookbook included in the Cosori air fryer is that each recipe has a picture with it, and the ingredients aren't intimidating to those of you like me who don't care for cooking. Most recipes call for ingredients you've actually heard of and probably have in your pantry — a real plus for me because I also hate wandering around in a grocery store searching for a random ingredient I'll only use once. The very first recipe I tried was sweet potato fries in the included Cosori cookbook. I like my fries a little crunchy, so I probably could have left them in the air fryer a few minutes longer than the recipe called for, but they were still delicious. Definitely the best sweet potato fries I've ever had.For fun, I then threw in some frozen okra I had bought in the freezer section. I bought a water bottle and filled it with olive oil, so all I did was lightly squirt the olive oil on the okra while in the air fryer basket and then just pushed the snowflake button. The okra came out so crunchy, just the way I like it. And I couldn't believe it had gone from frozen to crispy crunchy in just a matter of minutes. Most of them were golden brown, but I could tell the ones that I had missed when I sprayed the okra with the olive oil. Those were white — still crunchy and tasted fine, but a weird-looking white. I've since bought a pressurized oil sprayer can that's specifically for spraying olive oil, and it works much better at spraying everything evenly than my plastic water bottle.Same night and onto my third recipe: chicken fried steak. Now, this recipe wasn't in the incuded Cosori cookbook. This particular cookbook didn't have a picture, so I wasn't at all sure how it would turn out. It's so good, I've cooked it twice in three nights. That night's entire meal was cooked in the air fryer: sweet potato fries, frozen-turned-air fried okra, and chicken fried steak. It felt like an elaborate meal with hardly any time invested, and my kitchen wasn't a disaster after cooking all of that. I only had a few plates and a couple of bowls that I'd used instead of pots and pans and baking dishes all piled up on my counter with a greasy stove to clean. The next day, I tried the mozzarella cheese sticks in the included Cosori cookbook. I totally botched this recipe, using baking soda instead of cornstarch. Did I mention how bad I am at cooking? Even so, the mozzarella sticks worked out okay (but not great, which was likely my own fault) (but not great, which was likely my own fault). They crisped up nicely and quickly. They just didn't look a thing like the picture in the recipe book. I would have also liked the cheese to be more melted on the inside. It seemed like the outside was really crispy and the inside wasn't really melted. This could all be because of my using the wrong ingredient, so I'll give it another shot because, even with the wrong ingredient, they weren't bad. They didn't taste like mozzarella cheese sticks, but they were still good. For dinner, I cooked the kids grilled cheese sandwiches also using the included cookbook. These didn't turn out as expected. At least I used the right ingredients this time. But the cheese wasn't gooey like it would be if you cooked it on the stove. If I had doubled the amount of cheese the recipe called for it would probably be perfect. The bread was golden brown, though. It was a bit of a pain to have to melt butter on the stove, then brush it onto the bread, then grate cheese before putting it into the air fryer. I can get a grilled cheese sandwich in a pan quicker than that, but it was still fun to try. I'll try the recipe again with more cheese. I think it's a recipe I can tinker with to make perfect.I then tried the pizza from the Cosori recipe book. I didn't use pizza dough. I prefer pita bread. I followed the instructions as if it was pizza dough, which means you preheat the air fryer, brush your crust with olive oil, and then put it in the air fryer at 320 for five minutes. Then you take it out to add toppings. On mine, I put pizza sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella, and parmesan. Pop it back into the air fryer for another five minutes at 320, and it's done. It was so good. I'll be making another for lunch. The only downside was having to cook one at a time because I couldn't fit two pieces of pita bread in the basket together.

Ultrean Air Fryer, 4.2 Quart (4 Liter) Electric Hot Air Fryers Oven Oilless Cooker with LCD Digital Screen and Nonstick Frying Pot, ETL/UL Certified,1-Year Warranty,1500W (Black) Review:

We are currently experimenting with air frying, so this equipment hasn't taken up residence on the counter yet. This implies that it is frequently removed, utilized, cleaned, and put away. Despite seeming solid, this air fryer is not heavy. The entire apparatus can be easily lifted with the handle and transferred after the frying compartment is locked into place. The frying pan has enough space to cook three skewers, each with substantial portions of meat and vegetables, a large blooming onion, and a thick cut 12-ounce steak at a time. We were pleasantly impressed by how effectively it performed when we used it to degrease some fresh bacon one day.Every time we cook, we line the pan with parchment paper to help keep the screen's nonstick surface safe. We avoid cleaning non-stick surfaces with the scouring side of the sponge after learning from past experiences with other non-stick cookware. The cleaning has been rather simple thus far. With this purchase, we are quite pleased.

OMORC Air Fryer, 6 Quart, 1800W Fast Large Hot Air Fryers & Oilless Cooker w/Presets, LED Touchscreen(for Wet Finger)/Roast/Bake/Keep Warm, Dishwasher Safe, Nonstick,2-Year Warranty Review:

I've been wanting an air fryer for a while, but I didn't think the price was worth it given how little use they get. I got this air fryer when I learned that it could roast a full chicken in just 25 minutes. I was a little taken aback when it arrived to see how big it was. There is a lot of counter space required. However, it will at least look great on the counter. This air fryer is nicely built and made of premium materials. It is quite easy to use. Simply click the thermometer button, set the knob to the correct temperature, and then press the clock button to modify the cook time. There is no easier way to put it. It works well for air frying potatoes and frozen foods. Fries, onion rings, breaded mushrooms, jalapeo poppers, egg rolls, and taquitos are among the foods I've created. Everything turns out just as though it had been deep-fried. This air fryer also bakes and roasts food because it functions like a convection oven. I wanted to cook a whole chicken as my first dish. When I looked in the recipe book or instruction manual that came with it and couldn't locate the suggested temperature and time for a full chicken, I was dissatisfied and decided to use the time and temperature for chicken breast instead. I tried baking it for 25 minutes at 360 degrees. I left it in for an additional 20 minutes because that wasn't long enough. It still hadn’t cooked completely. I gave it another 20 minutes. Still not done. Because I needed to cook some roasted red potatoes (which came out amazing!) in the air fryer, I had to put the chicken in my standard oven to complete cooking. I was sad that I had to do that because I only got the air fryer because it advertised it could roast a chicken in 25 minutes. When I discovered that was the cooking time for a 2.2lb chicken, I went to the shop to get one that size. Unfortunately, it’s nigh impossible to locate a chicken that small at my local grocers. The smallest I could locate was 3.5lbs. The average size of a whole chicken is 3-4lbs. I cooked the second smaller chicken at 360 for 45 minutes. It was still a bit rosy so I gave it another 15 minutes. That was enough to cook it. It took a total of 50 minutes to cook a 3.5lb chicken. I would have liked it to cook faster than that but it came out better than it would have in my conventional oven so it was worth the wait. The only thing other it’s bulk that I don’t like about this fryer isn’t even an issue with the fryer itself but rather the recipe book it comes with. The recommended time/temp chart is messed up. The graphics don’t match the words. The icon for fish sticks is a steak and the icon for hamburgers is a chicken leg. That makes it untrustworthy to me therefore I had to spend extra time researching recommend cooking times and temps for a 5.5qt air fryer. Overall, this is a terrific gadget. If you know the exact time and temp for whatever you’re cooking, it will likely come out wonderful with very little effort. The recipe book might stand to be revised and it does eat up a lot of counter space but other than that I’m quite delighted with it.

HOLSEM Air Fryer XL with Rapid Air Circulation System, 5.28 QT Extra Large Capacity Digital Air Fryer, Temperature up to 400°F, Low Fat Healthy Air Fryer, Black, 1500W (LED Display) Review:

It's so wonderful, I can't believe it! Although I had heard about air fryers, I didn't really think they could take the place of deep-fat frying. But because I adore fried potatoes so much and it's not good for me, I made the decision to test this air fryer. I still can't believe how amazing the potatoes turned out the first time I used it! Even without ketchup, it has a fantastic flavor. I can now enjoy fried potatoes in a healthy way moving forward! Everyone should buy this stuff, in my opinion. For its size, cost, and quality, the HOLSEM XL air fryer is also a fantastic deal. It is simple to cook a variety of meals for me or the entire family because to the extra large capacity. I believe the air fryer is of decent quality; it doesn't feel plastic-like or anything of the sort. It appears to be well-made. I've seen my friend's Phillips air fryer, which is significantly more expensive and significantly smaller. But I don't believe that Phillips air fryer is of higher quality than this one. But if anything changes in the future, I'll update my evaluation.Another plus is how professionally and promptly the air fryer is packaged and delivered. How well it was packed astounded me. The outside, large protection box effectively and securely shielded the air fryer. Overall, a fantastic purchase!

Cuisinart TOA-60BKS Toaster Oven Air Fryer.6 Cubic Interior, Black Stainless Steel Review:

Because of the vicious 1-star reviews, I had second thoughts about purchasing this item. After using this appliance for a few weeks, I can only surmise that either a significant number of defective items were distributed (very unusual for Cuisinart), or that some consumers had unreasonable expectations of a toaster oven/air fryer. As a kitchen appliance, toaster ovens have been a constant in my life, so I've had to become familiar with all of their peculiarities. It has fewer than many other ones I've owned. However, it cooks quickly. very quickly This one cooks in a lot less time than predicted, so you need to watch it closely. With my prior one, you had to raise the temperature by around 25 degrees higher than you thought was necessary. As we understand more about how it functions, that ought to alter. The manual's and recipe book's suggested times and temperatures seem to be best faded back a little. It has a lot of strength. So far, chicken wing drumettes have been my favorite dish. My renowned buffalo wings are always deep-fried in peanut oil, then covered with sauce and dried briefly in the oven. They truly appear as though I just took them out of the fryer after cooking them for 10 minutes at 400 degrees on air-fry, flipping them over, and another 10 minutes of cooking. They are even better, according to my wife. Traitor!Compared to any toaster oven I've ever used, garlic toast and English muffins seem to crisp up quicker and keep interior moisture better. Shrimp and frozen French fries are simple to prepare. I was certain that she would make some boring fresh zucchini wedges tonight, but they were fantastic. To cut a long tale short, we have so far loved it and are eager to continue experimenting with it. Over the years, we've had tremendous success with Cuisinart equipment, and the few occasions we've had issues, their customer care representatives have gone above and beyond to assist us and have always treated us fairly.I adore it, and I would buy it again if it exploded tomorrow.

Dash Compact Air Fryer 1.2 L Electric Air Fryer Oven Cooker with Temperature Control, Non Stick Fry Basket, Recipe Guide + Auto Shut off Feature - Aqua Review:

This small gizmo is fantastic! I purchased it for my office at work, as I used to cook my sweet potato fries in a convection oven where I would have to go into the break room numerous times to flip my fries and reset the timer for additional cooking. This air fryer has made my life so much simpler and has eliminated all of that! My frozen sweet potato fries now only take 15 min to cook, I can keep the fryer in my workplace, and after approximately 5 uses, I can say it cooks extremely nicely and offers my fries (and tots) a beautiful crisp fried flavour. I have already pushed several of my co-workers to get one, and I'll definitely buy a larger one for my house down the road. This size is great for one or two serves, but if you are dining more people, I would choose a larger air fryer. Clean-up also couldn't be easier! It's adorable and a simple tool, I am really delighted with my buy!

GoWISE USA 3.7-Quart Programmable Air Fryer with 8 Cook Presets, GW22638 - Black Review:

First, I should state that I'm happy with this air fryer! It lives up to the reputation about generating crispy, golden brown meals with little or no oil. I've started making vegetarian meat(less) balls rolled in Panko crumbs. They come out with a lovely crisp crust even when cooked without oil.I wanted to touch directly on an issue someone brought about the heat output. I used a BBQ thermometer to test the exhaust temp immediately next to the vent at the back of the air fryer. The temp is not much lower than the cooking temp. For example, cooking at 370 degrees F creates 342 degree exhaust. The convection fan forces air out at a velocity similar to a hair dryer on a low setting. (In fact, air fryers operate a lot like hair dryers.) So obviously you'd want to heed the warning that comes in the instructions advising to leave at least an 8 inch gap behind the back of the air fryer. Personally, I like to leave an even bigger spacing, and I won't put a combustible object anywhere near the unit. This issue isn't particular to the GoWise product. That's just how pretty much all air fryers work. I observed another inquiry about whether air fryers raise the room temp. Theoretically, yes, but I don't think the effect is any greater than what happens when I use my gas stove top or full-sized oven. Again, it's like running a hair dryer. The air fryer tends to cook pretty fast so, if anything, there is less effect on room temp.
