It displays your deep/light sleep each night once you pair the tracker with your phone using the app over bluetooth, which is quick and easy for anyone who is familiar with that technology. Because I prefer to observe how much deep sleep I get each night, I find that I desire to wear it almost more at night than during the day. It allows me to receive calls and texts! It's good to be able to quickly understand what's happening even when I can't answer (as far as I'm aware). (FYI, long texts are chopped off, but that's not a problem as I need my phone to reply.)Very water resistant—I've unintentionally worn it while showering and doing the dishes, and it still works well.-Enables tracking of workouts (distance, calories, heart rate... etc.). Walking, biking, and running are already included as your three options on the tracker, but you may choose more workouts for your tracker to track using the app. For instance, I could switch the three selections on the wrist tracker to dance, dancing, and fitness (weights) (See photos).-Since the app you download has so many great features and offers more information, there are actually more benefits that I didn't even mention. Even though setting it up involves a little bit of tech know-how, I believe that once it's done, even those who have trouble using technology would be able to utilize it and enjoy it!Cons (Just a few general worries/questions regarding accuracy)I sometimes believe the heart rate monitor is malfunctioning. It frequently depicts me as being in my 50s or 60s, but I would say that my typical age is between 70 and 80. (which is average). The tightest setting gives it a more authentic appearance, but it can occasionally feel uncomfortable, especially while I'm working out and perspiring. My research indicates that most sleep trackers miss that unless a person moves around a lot when they wake up, so I would say this gadget is comparable to other, more expensive ones in that category.-Weird incident: The time was off by many hours the day after the watch died and I charged it. I had to reconnect it to my phone because it would "recalibrate" by itself. Minor annoyance, but something to keep in mind.-It can be challenging for me to remove the band from my face so I can recharge it, but ultimately I manage it with a little wiggle. I suppose that simply means that it attaches really securely:)Overall, this product is a great value for the money! It's possible that the heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, and calorie counters are all really accurate, and my estimates of those things are just wrong. In either case, it provides a reliable estimate for those places, plus the ease of viewing calls, messages, and walking distance (among other things) makes the purchase well worthwhile.*Update* While exercising, I physically tested my heart rate a several times. The tracker is around 20 BPM off (it displays 104 when it should be 132). I'm somewhat disappointed in the accuracy there because I've had it set up on my wrist as the owners manual instructs. Additionally, I did compare the data between the sleep tracker and another fitness tracker I purchased, and they are nearly equal, so I assume it is accurate.

I've owned three high-end fitness watches or gadgets. Although the new smart watch was provided, I couldn't afford it. This one has every function I was looking for in a smart watch, plus a few more. The size of the watch strap is the main drawback in my opinion, but I have experienced this problem with EVERY fitness gadget. I'll be looking at Letsfit for an alternative band because my wrist is barely 5 1/2" long. The double prongs in the band are something I enjoy since I believe they add an added layer of security (less fear of losing the watch). Aside from that, I adore the watch. The display is simple to read and shows the information I need, including calls and messages, steps taken, heart rate, and a stopwatch. With no need to beat the touch screen, it is responsive (which I feel I did with my old device). At work, I have applied the breathing technique. All of this information is readily available on the screen. Before, I didn't have a fancy gadget, so I had to take out my phone in order to access all the information I needed. Easy to sync with my phone. The information and instructions needed to swiftly set up the smart watch were provided by the instruction booklet (yes, there is a handbook). An excellent smartwatch for a fantastic price.

Given the watch/pricing, tracker's I didn't have high hopes, but they have been much exceeded. There isn't much of a difference in accuracy between this and my Fitbit, which I compared. Everything the Fitbit performs will be tracked. Along with continuously measuring your steps, heart rate, and blood pressure, it also includes different tracking options for walking, bicycling, and running. It also enables texting and phone conversation. It is also somewhat slimmer than the Fitbit, and because it is so light, you hardly even notice that you are wearing it. It looks fantastic as well, and I enjoy that my Fitbit lacks color on the display whereas this one does. Your blood pressure is even being monitored, which is surprising close to my cuff reading. It syncs properly with your smartphone and has its own app. Even better, the tracker has a camera capability that lets you snap pictures with your phone simply by moving your wrist or touching it. Another feature missing from the more costly Fitbit. Although I would consider giving him my Fitbit instead of this gift and keeping it for myself, I want to give it to my grandson. What a fantastic tracker at a fantastic cost.

The charging connection being located on the band's side was among the first things that startled me. There isn't an additional cord to remember and attach. This should have astonished and delighted me because I already have too many wires to keep track of, and this makes it incredibly simple and practical. It was simple to Sync and to read the front of the face. The alarm that warns you that you've been sitting too long is definitely the feature that I like the most. It's wonderful to have a reminder to pause and walk around because I have a desk job and occasionally become mired in paperwork.Update: I went back and bought a second fitness band as a gift because I liked it so much! It's simple to download and set up the app. It seamlessly integrated with Apple HealthKit and synchronized with my iPhone. The convenience of things is just such a basic thing. I realized how much I valued the simple ability to check my wrist when the phone vibrated to decide whether to answer it. I frequently just leave my phone on the ground! That was already a plus! The vibe alert was much nicer than picking the loudest phone ring and being shocked because I too have trouble hearing the phone when it rings. Overall plus. Definitely a nice deal compared to the well-known names.

Given the pricing, I gave this cute small fitness tracker with an HR feature four stars. I believe I would have reduced it to 3 if it had cost more.Due to my job, where I spend a lot of the day with my hands in water, I wanted something less expensive than a Fitbit that was water resistant. Its resistance to submersion is unknown to me, so I can't comment on that aspect, but it has fared well when repeatedly splashed. Nothing at all wrong. The band is really comfortable, and I appreciate the size and screen features (which are quite easy to see). It also charges quite quickly and may be used for days without recharging. This is the least priced option to the more expensive fitness trackers.But now my criticisms (I know, I know, excessive 1st world problems ;)). Sometimes I think the HR monitor is way off. Once, after a particularly long day, I decided to take a manual reading of my heart rate and compare it to the tracker since I could tell it was suitably low. I was drinking wine and feeling really calm on our balcony. I measured my heart rate at 61 while the tracker recorded a staggering 112 BPM, almost twice as fast. I really don't feel like the readings are very accurate, even though it's not always off by that much and occasionally it's off in the opposite direction (like when I was doing cardio at the gym and it was telling me my HR was in the 100 BPM area, even though I didn't conduct a manual check then).The color of the ring is much brighter than I would have preferred. I know, another first-world problem. In contrast to how the picture made it appear, the actual product is a much deeper shade of blue. Not that it's a negative thing, but if I had known, I probably would have chosen black.Although it does indeed sync with chat applications as advertised, this function was only available on my device for three days before it was completely disabled. Which was fine because the tracker was fixated on one text message from radiolab that I never opened, making it a "unread" message, and the tracker was certain I would read it. Although I recognize that it was following instructions, it disregarded other new communications I was receiving in favor of Radiolab.Finally, its sleep tracking is a little erratic. Although I enjoy that it measures both light and deep sleep, it seems to only track sleep during "typical" sleep hours, and even then the data is distorted. For instance, it gave me a very pleasant 7 hours and 53 minutes of sleep last night, which began at 11:59 and ended at 7:52. However, even though that time was blocked off as being awake even though I didn't go to bed until 1:45, it still counted towards my sleep total. I did awaken at 7:50, but as today was my day off, I went back to sleep until 9:30, thus none of that constituted the required amount of sleep. Additionally, naps have no effect at all.Overall, it lives up to expectations and costs a reasonable amount of money. If you're looking for something to closely track your lifestyle and fitness, this might not be the ideal fit for that because, although I realize I have no room to complain, I feel that a lot of the information is slanted and misleading. However, it's a fantastic pedometer, and the cost is reasonable given what you receive.I'll cease my tirade now.

I've had a Fitbit for four years. This is my fourth. When the band on the charge separated, I started with a fresh one that was provided to me. Later, I went to the alta, and I like how sleek it was, but I wasn't delighted by the features. In terms of more features and alternatives, the fee was superior. For hiking, I've been seeking for a compact band and face device with a GPS and heart rate monitor. When they launched the inspire hr, I was ecstatic. It exceeds my expectations in every way. I've never had a problem with it. The charger cord is brief, but the last two were as well. My usb cubes have always been plugged into extension cords, and charging has never been a problem. In general, the battery lasts 4-5 days. I adore how it records my sleep patterns (awake, light sleep, deep sleep and rem). The GPS feature is fantastic and connects to Strava. As I practice for a backpacking trip, I like to keep track of my long treks and walks and compare my numbers to see how I'm doing. Seeing my heart rate throughout exertion and relaxation is also wonderful. According to some other reviews I've read, this Fitbit has a number of issues. It appears that this time, I got lucky. Let's hope Fitbit corrects them. I'm content and will hold onto this one.

For the price, it works reasonably well, however the instructions are just useful for connecting to your smart device. can only have one active connection at a time. Along with having its own app, it will connect to the Apple Health app. It's worth it for a basic fitness tracker that monitors heart rate, sleep, exercise (running, walking, bicycling, hiking, and steps). The Apple fitness app is not very helpful for me because I prefer Bluetooth and my iPhone usually rests on the table when I'm at home. However, this fitness band maintains excellent track of my exercise objectives and instantly uploads to my iPhone. To anyone just starting to track their activities without spending a lot of money, I wholeheartedly recommend this device. P.S. I'm a big man, a really big man, and the silicon wristband fits perfectly. I haven't worn a wristwatch in over 30 years since I have a nerve problem in my left wrist that produces excruciating agony in my wrist and arm even when I apply the tiniest amount of pressure. P.S. This meter can withstand up to 1 meter of water without becoming waterproof. Last but not least, my tracker needs to be re-synchronized multiple times per day, but this is probably because I spend so much time outside of my iPhone's Bluetooth range.

I now have a FitBit Charge HR on my nightstand, but I was tired of the charging line often getting misplaced, the battery life being short, and the fact that the model I purchased was basic black and not really attractive.Needless to say, I chose to browse other fitness tracker options rather than purchasing yet another charger for my FitBit.Because of the price, I was really suspicious when I came across this one, but I still decided to get it. Now that I have it, I can honestly say that my FitBit pales in comparison to this device, which was much less expensive.It keeps track of my movements, travel distance, calories burnt, workouts, and sleep patterns—pretty much all I could ask for! Even more, I modified the UI, exercises, alarm, goals, bluetooth compatibility, and alerts using the app that was included in the owner's manual. I really fell in love with this tracker at this point! My alarm wakes me up in the morning, and my fitness apps record my workouts in the order that I complete them. It works excellent when I have it set to notify me after every 15 minutes of inactivity from 7am to 9pm. Additionally, it displays notifications for texts and messages from multiple platforms so I don't have to take out my phone when they arrive during my morning workout.The hardware is this tracker's BEST "pro," though. These are made in a fantastic way! The bands can be switched out and removed entirely. I won't have to worry about losing another charger cord thanks to the band's transformation into a USB charger!I truly can't think of anything bad to say, but if anything changes, I'll be sure to update my review.

After using an Alta for a few years, I decided it was time to update. Before committing to something else, I was waiting to see what Fitbit had in store. The more advanced Fitbit gadgets didn't intrigue me because I'm not a big fan of smartwatches. The Charge 3's release inspired me to give it some thought.Considering I'm from an Alta, the size worried me a little. This has not caused any issues. Although it is larger, it nevertheless comfortably fits the wrist and is not at all heavy. I haven't experienced any discomfort. However, I bought a different kind of band that was more in line with what I usually wear.My assessment of the Charge 3 may be somewhat biased given that it has significantly more features and power than the Alta. Great battery life is provided. Excellent usability. The features are far more numerous. I particularly enjoy getting information on my heart rate and projected sleep stages. The update that enables the SpO2 feature is something I'm looking forward to.I've said it before, but I don't like smartwatches. Although I can see more information about my notifications on the Charge 3, I'm still inclined to turn those down or off because I disabled notifications on my Alta. I'm the kind of person who prefers to focus on the task or occasion at hand rather than quickly checking what my phone just beeped about. The vibration is extremely strong, I will admit that.Having an altimeter again is pleasant. This was on my Fitbit One, but for some reason the Alta didn't have it. I enjoy being able to track it once more as I've pushed myself to take the stairs more frequently.The auto brightness doesn't seem to lower sufficiently in weak light, which is the only fault I'll point out and which is enough to deduct a star for. The brightness of the monitor was directly next to my eyes, and just by moving at night, it woke me up. The brightness of the display, as one individual put it, burns like a thousand suns. The auto brightness, I've discovered, sometimes seems to accomplish something, but it doesn't dim nearly enough in the dark and can be fairly startling when unanticipated.Given that this product has only recently been released, I'm confident that all software flaws, including the missing functionality in some watch faces as well as the auto brightness problem, will be resolved in due course. Overall, I think this is a fantastic improvement over the Alta and will keep me using the Fitbit platform for a few more years.
