Let me share with you the three key points I discovered on the websites of Spin Masters, Target, and Walmart:- Simple Vehicles- Adaptive Vehicles- Utmost Rescue AutomobilesAlthough some people claim that the Ultimate Rescue line fits in the tower, they are the largest of the three lines, and some reviews claim that those are too huge. I needed cars that would suit the Lookout Tower, and I eventually discovered this.Since they were initially designed to serve as the cars for the tower, the Basic Vehicles are the original vehicles (the Basic Chase car comes with the Lookout Tower). Simply referred to as "Marshall's Fire Fightin Truck," the Basic Marshall automobile. The Basic line, on the other hand, is the most difficult to locate; either they are now overpriced on Amazon by independent sellers, or I was only able to find one or two Basic vehicles at each Target I went to.Come in here, Transforming line. They cost $12.99 each on Amazon and are a little bit smaller than the Ultimate Rescue. Each of them has a tiny button that releases the pups' accessories. My children enjoy detonating Marshall's water guns, and they can also reset them (ages 2.5 and 4).In the end, this will function in the Lookout Tower. It's a good toy, and my daughter (2.75 years old) adores it. It may take a lot of force to snap some of the pieces together when putting it together; but, since the plastic is sturdy, it held together just well. Be prepared for it because I had to almost completely support the base's attachment to the tower at 240 pounds. It took approximately 30 minutes to put together, and the instructions are clear. Minor criticisms/adviceThe slip is terrible. The puppies can't slide out on their own since they can't slide down it very well, and you have to use the flipper at the bottom to help them out. Although my daughter doesn't seem to bother, I can see how it would annoy some children.2. The elevator is prone to alignment issues; if it stops going all the way up or down, you might assume it's broken, but it's likely simply out of sync. Hold the elevator in the middle and adjust the height by pulling the lever. The elevator will not move until you force the lever to move, making a godawful noise, but you can fix it quite easy and it will function normally after that (til she does it again). I've had to do this for my daughter at least a dozen times, and it seems to have no negative consequences. However, it would be wonderful if the elevator mechanism was built with more strength from the start.

For my son's third birthday, I purchased him this automobile. He is very tactile and enjoys dissecting how things function, so I thought it would be fun to give him something he appreciates (cars) and give him the chance to disassemble it and put it back together piece by piece. For the first two and a half hours after opening the box, he completely forgot about his other birthday presents and focused entirely on this one. He quickly learned which button tightens and which one loosens, and I value the fact that each component has a resting spot so he doesn't have to hold them in place as he assembles. We've had the item for almost a week, and every day when he gets home, he grabs it and starts disassembling and reassembling it.I especially appreciate the box's inclusion of four spare tires and screws. We're generally excellent at keeping toy parts intact, but given how small they are, I'm sure we'll need at least a few of those extras sooner or later.The only drawback is that you have to disassemble the automobile in order to flip a switch in order to turn off the lights and audio. Otherwise, they appear to be running nonstop. Fortunately, my son doesn't mind if they are turned off.
