HOYIN Crimped Wire Cup Brush |6 Pack|2in 0.0118in Coarse Carbon Steel|1/4in Shank|for Drill Review:

In order to prepare a wrought iron fence for painting, I bought these. They were effective. The force of the drill means you have to use a VERY delicate touch or it will just bounce off, which is the only thing I didn't expect. They operated better once they had been somewhat curved in the direction of the drill, which was also interesting to me. There was less friction, making it simpler to grasp and utilize.

Forney 72757 Wire Cup Brush, Knotted with 5/8-Inch-11 Threaded Arbor, 2-3/4-Inch-by-.020-Inch Review:

My Forney wire cup recently ran out, so I just purchased another. I typically wait to leave reviews until after I've tried a product, and then I frequently forget. I will add, though, that the service life was good because I ordered another. A twisted wire wheel should be reasonably aggressive, but the actual reason I'm getting another is that it didn't shed its bristles. In actuality, the bristles eventually became nubbly without losing any hair. The cup didn't flare out too much, the bristles were stiff, and they consistently cut under pressure. The service, life, and quality of this one have me very happy. This is exactly what I would like from a wire cup, although I would choose a flap disc for difficult rust removal or significant amounts of mill scale. A picture of the bristles' wear is attached.

Katzco Wire Wheels Brush - 2 Pack Knotted and Crimped Cups for Rust Removal, Corrosion and Paint - Hardened Steel Wire for Reduced Wire Breakage and Longer Life Review:

I wasn't sure whether these would be sturdy enough when I bought them to use a cordless drill to remove the rust from the ground of my car. These are high sturdy; I had purchased one at AutoZone that worked okay but them removed the rust quickly and let me to move on without having to stop. I would certainly recommend these for rust on metal. These deserve 10 stars because they function fantastically (I tried to upload a video but it wouldn't for some reason; I'll try it later on my PC).

HOYIN 6Piece Wire Wheel Cup Brush Set|0.0118In Coarse Crimped Carbon Steel|1/4In Round Shank|for Drill Review:

Given the cost, I didn't anticipate much from these tiny brushes. So when I realized the quality, I was pretty impressed. They significantly surpassed my expectations. It was taking forever to remove dried-up epoxy glue that was on top of oil paint with 40 and 60 grit sandpaper. With the drill set to the lowest torque, these little brushes completed the task in one pass! Despite this intense workout, none of the wires broke or even bent! I used it for a few other chores after that—removing rust from an old iron pan and even scraping dried thinset out from under a cracked tile I was replacing—and it still looked brand new. Again, there was no wire loss or damage. At this price, that is a really fantastic deal.

Dico 541-786-21/2 Nyalox Cup Brush 21/2-Inch Blue 240 Grit Review:

The product initially made me a little apprehensive because it seemed a little too rough and unstable for me to use, but I still gave it a go. My painting space has cement and rock walls, as well as a tile floor. On the walls made of cement and rock, the paint was easily removed! Although I should have used the brush on the walls before the floor to make sure it wasn't too rough, it kept going and was extremely sturdy despite being a little rough on my tile flooring. I added a little extra soap and hair conditioner to the brush, and the scratching stopped. Finally, I was able to achieve my goals, and my room now appears much more organized.

6" Cup Brush, Nylon Filament, 5/8"-11 Thread, 2500 max.RPM Review:

This product works well for sanding or scuffing. It must be spun at the recommended speed or lower to prevent melting and plastic transfer to the surface. Any highspots were rapidly removed since the sanding operation was so forceful and difficult to regulate. It has a lot of torque because as you spin it, it flattens out to 8 inches. Flat is not what you desire. The better it sands, the slower it turns. You need to press somewhat harder to fit the brush into dents because it easily fits into corners and curves. Sand outside creates dust, so use safety equipment and a decent dust mask. Most of the dust was removed using a yard blower. I tried to use the wrong tool—a $20 angle grinder from Harbor Freight—while slowly spinning it. This caused strain on the HF angle grinder, and after fixing the bed scuff and the six dents that needed to be fixed, it was OOC. I took nearly an hour to fill the truck's pickup bed. It was well worth it. "Using the wrong power tool to operate it." I still have around 3/4 of the brush. I was preparing a bed for a DIY $100 herculiner coating, but I was unable to maintain a consistent temperature in my garage because of the unseasonably extremely cold weather. Base Line-X was sprayed on the bed. My friend is delighted that we will DIY-coat his truck for free and that he will provide cool refreshments.

Makita 1 Piece - 4 Inch Knotted Twist Wire Wheel Brush For Grinders - Heavy-Duty Conditioning For Metal - 4" x 5/8-Inch | 11 UNC Review:

I have several little brass wire wheels that I have had, and I have coffee cans full of the worn out ones. I paint and remove rust from automobiles and trucks frequently, and this stainless steel wire-wheel is quite efficient.Use it on a grinder with a paddle switch only, please! IT'S NOT A TOY! It takes off paint and rust more quickly than my sandblaster.I'm extremely happy with it, and I can now see why expert welders constantly use them for setup and cleanup. You will appreciate the quick, thorough cleanliness it provides if, like me, you regularly work on mechanical items that require cleaning and painting. It is highly advised!!! Please don a welding mask, gloves, and goggles. Stay SAFE.
